Julia / Bamboo Spa Hendon / rip off TOFTT

Visited Bamboo Spa in Hendon in the last few days.  I hadn't been here in 3 years and last review seems to have been 9 months ago in Dec 2020.

I actually wanted to go and TOFTT at Nature Spa in Hendon, but I couldn't get a free slot and Mai Thai Hendon didn't look appealing with the old ladies on display.  Sakura Thai in Hendon also only had one mature lady available.

Spanish slim MILF on reception who doesn't do massages but got an eyeful of a supposed Iraqi lady (doubt it) but refused her given the big size and non attractive features.  Sounds like the one reviewed by Iz88 in Dec 2020 https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=289339.msg3021218#msg3021218

Receptionist then showed me a pic on her phone of Julia, a supposed mid 20s something from Portugal who looked really hot in her photos.  Paid £50 entry for 1h (rather expensive I felt since most shops in NW London vary between £40 and £45.  Room had air conditioning and was clean but no shower (communal one available but 5 min would be deducted from  your hour).

Long story short, shit massage, no CC swipes whatsoever, and after spending endless amounts of time going in circles on the same calf muscle I asked her directly about extras to which she said £80 for B2B and £30 HE.  I said she must be kidding and refused to pay either on principle.  She never even attempted to ask for extra and seemed happy to continue her shit massage.

She even tried to short change me by 8 min for the 1h massage to which I asked her to continue and she did.  She spoke (or claims to speak) little or no English or but the odd word she did speak was clear enough with a good accent.   She kept her phone between my legs so the vibrating sound of incoming messages was off-putting and she had ear phones in her ear.  There was little to no small chit chat as a result which made it hard to enjoy the session as I like to break the ice with the girl.  Couldn't do that here.

Despite entering with blue balls and leaving with blue balls, I have no regrets on not feeding this greedy girl and instead made sure she didn't earn anything from this massage except her hourly wage.  Upon complaining to the receptionist on my way out, the receptionist pretended that didn't know what goes on in the room and said that's between me and the girl.  Told her to cut the shit and understand customer feedback as I wouldn't be going back there again.  To add insult to injury, the apparently fit girl in the picture on the phone that she showed me very closely resembled another girl who exited the shop as I was leaving....so appears to me like live click bait.

Parking was available near by on the main high street but free after 5.30pm.

I wont be going back.  I will be trying Nature Spa again though....something tantalising about that place, even if only professional massage.

Just a note on the reviewer's desire to try Natures Spa in Hendon - basically don't bother.

I had a massage here a week ago, and can report (A) it's totally legit, and (B) the massage was well short of what you get in a legit Thai place or even most Thai shops offering extras.

Usually I do some research but didn't bother on this occasion. The place is odd; it seems to be trying to make it as a proper spa and massage centre, but bits are tacky and the vibe definitely low-rent. After paying (£50/hour) you're taken to a basement "spa" area and told to leave everything in a locker and then you're collected (with your towel wrapped round you) and taken to the room. The spa does seem to have a sauna if you want after the massage. I saw a Brazilian masseuse called Christina, who was sweet enough though very little English; she did provide a fair firm massage, but as I said nowhere near as good as Thai shops. By this stage I guessed no extras would materialize, and though I made what I thought were encouraging noises, nothing was offered, and I never ask.  I had a shower back in the spa area.

I really don't know how these places manage to survive, and as others have said, with a bit of research you'll get a better massage and a range of extras in other shops within a few minutes walk.

You should create a new thread under the name of the place, it will help others and also allow others to provide their feedback. 

Do you think another one of the girls might offer extra and it just might have been this one who didn't?  Guess you wont really know if you dont  have any intention of going back.  Did you get an eye full of the other girls?
