Frankfurt Update- September.

In the RLD the polizei patrols were more frequent. The rumour is the area is going for a clear up (train station in refurb mode).

Each RLD building had an entrance control-a change from July/August. Not a surprise to see guys get turned away. For double jabbed Brits, get a pdf version of the vaccine record from the NHS. Register with the Luca app. Download the pdf QR codes which on Luca transfers into an EU Digital Certificate- and away you go, some buildings check in, others just show it. Having the Luca app means no writing of addresses! when you leave, check out to stop the timer....Luca app also helps get you into the dining areas of McDonalds and the like.

The downside to the above is the lack of girls. Many rooms and floors are empty. Even those who returned are on duty for shorter hours. The older ladies have gone home and wont return according to one English speaking Latino. Not many Romanians around either (to my pleasure as some of them are rude and nasty). At night it didn't look any better, a few buildings closed by 9pm.

COVID wise only the airline seem to be interested in the tests. No one asked for pre-departure test or PLF when i arrived back in London. There were no huge queues in Stansted either direction. In Frankfurt they had no separate EU line and the e-gate was switched off. Passport was stamped but the gendarme barely looked at my papers (hotel evidence, return ticket etc). I didn't book a test in Germany for the pre-departure, I took my non-NHS kit with me as it worked out cheaper.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the update I love the sleaziness of the Frankfurt RLD - I was recently at FKK artemis and heard similar stories RE shortage of girls, some too scared to come back etc - post to follow.

Thanks for the update, was contemplating heading there in a few weeks but may head to bochum instead. Not sure I'm ready to try an FKK yet as prefer a but of variety and the curiosity of an RLD.

Was in Frankfurt a couple of weeks ago and went to Breite Gasse a couple of times. Broadly the experiece was similar to OP. There were about 4 venues open there and there was a real shorage of workers. My first visit was lunchtime on Sunday and the second around 10pm on Monday.  Both times there was a maximum of 2 girls per floor. Some floors were completly empty. Although choice wasnt great I did find a something to my liking.  On Sunday £25 seemed the going rate and Monday £30.

On most places there was someone on the door looking for vacination/test certificates. I just flashed the NHS App and then scribbled a "Name" and a hotel name on the form they wanted filled in.

Im going to investigate the LUCA app as that sounds very useful.

I flew wiht Lufthansa and they did look for the pre flight test, there are a couple of places in the airport where you can get a laterflow test and result in less than 30 mins.  There was never a queue when I went and cost 29euro. Thankfully this requirement is disappearing in the next couple of weeks if you are fully vacinated.   Several people got removed from the flight as they hadnt fill in the UK locator forms.  It is certainly harder getting back to the UK than into europe.

Just been back over again. Not much changed in the last month or so. Went on a wet tesday about 10pm, very few wgs about and not a lot of punters either. Going rate was 25.

Back again on a slightly better Weds night around 9. More girls about this time and going rate was also 25.

The LUCA app is great. Works a bit like the NHS app one where you scan the QR code a the entrance, its starts a timer. You then slick again when you come out to stop the timer.  Setup was simple.  just flash the phone with the timer going and no questions or forms to fill in.

I might be in Frankfurt for a couple of days next week. I've not been there before, except for the airport, and the red light district seems interesting, even if it's pretty quiet at the moment. I would also spend an evening in Sharks to finally pop my FKK cherry, but I don't think my wallet could take the hit if I went there multiple nights. I'm curious what you can expect in the RLD for €30? I'm guessing it would be a pretty rushed and limited service. I've been a few times to the Antwerp RLD and I'd usually choose to pay a bit more for a less rushed experience (€50 for 20 minutes, if I remember correctly), and it worked well for me, rather than the cheapest pump and dump option.

You won’t be getting anything other than a p&d for €30, although you could probably haggle for owo in some of the houses, stay out of rotes haus if you do go, its full of scammers.

Cheers, yeah I'm aware of the Rotes Haus's reputation and will stay well away.

I paid a visit to the RLD a couple of days ago and won’t be hurrying back. I stuck to Elbestraße because I kept getting approached/harassed by cunts on the other streets trying to get me to go into their shitty little clubs/bars and probably get scammed. I went into three buildings and there was generally one or two girls per floor, mostly not particularly attractive. The few attractive girls I saw were totally disinterested. In the end I selected a mature Colombian lady at Elbestraße 45 (ground floor room on the right hand side, this place seemed to be all mature ladies and she was the only one I found reasonably attractive) who wanted €30 for the basic service. I can’t complain about the service, I’ve paid double that at other RLDs and received much worse, and she didn’t try to rush me, which I was concerned about going in. Job done, but my impression of the RLD on the whole is pretty grim.

I definitely recommend getting the Luca app for proof of vaccination and for checking in, but if you do use it for checking in, it stores the venue’s address in the app’s history section. I couldn’t care less, but it might be an issue for others.

Yeah, I posted about it in the Hessen FKK thread. Had a good time despite some high-pressure upselling attempts.

Stay well clear of the Frankfurt RLD. There has been an increase in gangs who are now starting to look at tourists/visitors- before they didn't bat an eyelid. Due to COVID lockdowns and being unvaccinated they don't have much assistance. There has been more COVID infections detected in the RLD. Whilst I was in one building the polizei were outside for ID checks. The Afghans were in panic mode. All buildings were subject to 2G+, though the test is required-the reason they bouncer doesn't really look at it is because "we have you on CCTV"- as one said. The town is a crap hole at the moment. Fridays are as quiet as Christmas Day. Hopefully by summer 2022 it can regain its fun image- if not it be gone for good like Amsterdam.
