He was at her flat door. He thinks she buzzed him through the building door, she says she didn't.

Yep, this is the bit where the problem is! If she didn't buzz me in, who did?

Offline Moby Dick

This is bollocks comms.

The WG knows who is booked in at what time.
She’s independent. Takes her own bookings.

As long as punter is using same phone, then it should of been obvious to her that he was the client she was expecting, FFS he is standing at the door and she is texting “bye bye”.

Piss Poor to the Door.

Imagine having somebody speak to you like that - absolutely no chance I’ll see her

Yep that tells me she double booked and has a conveyor belt / traffic control system going on. She tries to hold them at the door with her rules and not buzzing them in, one in one out, I’m out, would’ve been been in at some point no doubt, but now not until there’s a drought.

I've tailgated in to apartments loads of times before a booking, i've never had a WG complain about it once.
If you've got a booking confirmed & you're arriving at the agreed time what's the problem?
And yeah, it's the "bye bye" that really smacks of arrogance.

I’ve had comms with this lady and in all honesty they weren’t the most friendliest.

I’ve tailgated plenty of times as it’s dodgy as hell just littering around waiting to be buzzed in when there’s others about.

This is a certain red and I won’t be bothering trying to make a booking.

I got complained once by an SP as I'd texted her to say I'd arrived and she told me to buzz but as I approached the door to her building a load of residents turned up and I tailgated them as it would look weird if I didn't. I made out that the lift was too full and waited for the next one, so I'd go to her floor on my own.  I arrived on her floor and walked to the door as usual and she let me in and then got complained at me for not buzzing.  It turns out she uses the buzz in to get ready by her door, so you don't end up lurking around on her floor for her neighbours to see.  She knows how long it takes to travel from ground floor to her door and she stands by the door listening for your foot steps. As I'd not buzzed in she wasn't standing behind the door, so there was an extra 30 seconds or so of me standing outside her door. Next time I visited her I made sure to buzz in and got no complaints.

On this one it looks like there are lessons to be learned on both sides. It does look like the OP followed all the rules. It might be that he got buzzed in by someone else by accident and that led to the following confusion. Who really knows  :unknown:. It would have been nice if she'd accepted that an honest no harm done mistake had been made and gone ahead with the booking, but it's her rules as she has to feel safe.  I wouldn't want to see an SP if she felt unsafe.

Doesn’t discourage me from visiting as the actual reviews in the room tell me when I do finally make it through Fort Knox I’ll be in for a good time. What this review does, which I absolutely agree should be a negative, is tell me getting into the flat is gonna be a pain so take a bit of extra care when communicating how to get in.

For my tuppenth worth I think by trying to buzz 3 times and walking away as someone else there wouldn’t of helped and I’d put it down to a misunderstanding and an over cautious stance by the WG.

But once she’s decided that she’s cancelling best thing to do is go to plan B. She’s never gonna change her mind. I’d message her privately and see if she wanted to discuss it further. If not move on.

If i do end up getting in by tailgating, i'll then text the WG to let her know i'm in the building & on my way up so that i'm not just knocking on the door when she thinks i'm still outside.
A punter can look more noticable & suspicious by just lurking outside an entrance when there's people coming & going & holding the door for you to come in but you're hanging outside.
She could have handled it much better imo & the 'bye bye' is adding insult to injury.

In my case I didn't bother texting I was in as it's only about 2 minutes from ground floor to her place and text messages aren't guaranteed immediate delivery, so I was likely to arrive before the text message.  However, I learned something from the experience and the booking went well and I didn't make the same mistake again.

It's pretty common for SPs to insist you buzz separately instead of tailgating. Some like you to buzz so they know you've arrived and can be ready for you walking up to their door and letting you in without ringing bells or knocking doors and thus you're not loitering outside their door possibly attracting the attention of neighbours.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the other reason they want you to buzz their flat separately...

It's the only way they get to see you on the security camera if fitted on the panel.

I'm not condoning it, but it's useful for the SP if you're not to her liking. :unknown:

This silly time wasting woman booked me in and when I got there, told me she had to cancel because she has booked an outcall instead. She is a 10/10 time waster and one to avoid.

I think some of the "why didn't you post a review" comments on here are a bit over the top sometimes.  However stuff like this is vital. Some people need a fair bit of planning to arrange a punt and just to be fobbed off for an outcall is appalling.

Hope this is taken in the way it's intended, I'm not one of the hardcore anti "leech" brigade, but this sort of info is vital and probably the most important type of review when separating the bad 'uns from the good 'uns  :drinks:
