"Without warning, PaySafeCard terminated our account with them on Monday 16 August.  Accordingly, we are unable to redeem any PaySafeCards via the Site.

We are seeking an explanation and hope that there will be a route to remedy the situation, but we are not overly hopeful.  As PaySafeCard is now listed on the US stock market, it is conceivable that they feel that the Site is no longer appropriate for their US investors.

In the meantime, members looking to purchase anonymously can do so using most crypto currencies.  Look for the Bitcoin link on the Buy Credits Page.

We apologise for the inconvenience this will undoubtedly cause and will do our utmost to meet any requirements PaySafeCard lay down for account reactivation."

Received an Awank email today - same stuff as above.  Also included:

"Whilst we select and onboard an alternative, (probably Neosurf), which will work in the same way, we would politely suggest that purchasing credits using a crypto currency is the closest alternative in terms of maintaining your anonymity"

Looked @ Neosurf & sales locations
Best to call location 1st to check if on sale
As previously when buying PaySafe [PS] when local shop was shut a couple of the places listed didn't have PS

& presently Neosurf isn't showing as one of the payment options
Redeemed a PS tenner credit a week or so ago so will spend more frugally until neosurf up & running
As for purchasing a crypto currency, yeah right.  I simply won't bother buying PGs until easy to do so

Some group like Mnet will have complained to PS about their anonymous system being used for hookering stuff

Its more likely to be Visa and Mastercard that are behind whats happened as they are with what's going on with Only Fans although that was driven by a journo from the BBC with a bee in their bonnet.

I cant see Neosurf taking them on tbh as they're heading in the same direction as Paysafe.

I always wonder if they've ever spoken to Epoch as they seem to get around the credit card companies rules when acting as the card processor for plenty of adult sites.

The ball is in AW.s court really tho as if they seriously wanted to address the situation they could set up another business selling something for say 25 quid whose real value was virtually nil [ say the ownership of a square inch of scrubland on Cyprus ] and then offer 25 credits for free to everyone who bought one and who could enter a receipt number onto the AW aystem.

It's not the card companies that are causing this as I bought a PaySafeCard using cash and they blocked it. I think they get more fraud on PaySafes via Adultwork especially as people may not want to have their real details associated with the card.

Offline webpunter

The certainly ain't gonna be fraud on cash purchases for PaySafe
Low level £amounts

Not up-to-speed with what Visa & MaserCard have a prpblem with
The two of them must have millions of cards issued to dubious people who spend fuck loads [of other people's money] on their V & MC credit cards
Earning them loads of income

£1 per credit on PaySafe ain't expensive
& paying by mobile doesn't work + is twice the price
Coz i have my punting mobile on a value bundle covering calls texts data so Awank credits won't work

I'll look at PG now & again when relatively cheap & easy.  Otherwise i won't bother
And on here numerous times that there are pics of burds not on the galleries

The American authorities defined AW as a foreign criminal organisation a couple of years ago, and that simple act banned all USA organisations from providing banking or payment support to AW. If Paysafe have floated on the USA stock market then those rules will apply.
Payment to AW is going to get increasingly difficult. One way round it may be if AW used one of the Chinese payment systems from AliBaba or TenCent - but the Chinese government could well get upset by that

Well looks like they've signed up with Neo.  Let's see just how long that one lasts

The big advantage over Paysafe is you can pay for vouchers online with your card [ you couldnt do that with PSC ] But the limits to how much you can do in a rolling month are even lower than Paysafes were.

Thanks for the heads up on Neo
Will ideally stick to paying cash at a retail outlet rather than using a card
In some ways PaySafe dropping off AWank a bonus as less tempted to unecessarily spend on PGs

So when you gonna pop your UKP cherry & wazz up a review ?  ;)

Wish I'd checked before buying a £20 voucher :(

Unless i'm missing something it appears that AW don't accept the voucher top-ups from paysafe, so I just wanted to alert others before or incase they are thinking of using this method to add credit to their AdultWork accounts

AW did send an email about this a couple of weeks ago:

Re: Alternatives to PaySafeCard at AdultWork.com

Dear Member

As you may be aware, PaySafeCard terminated our account with them on Monday.  You will be unable to redeem any vouchers you have at AdultWork.com.

Whilst we select and onboard an alternative, (probably Neosurf), which will work in the same way, we would politely suggest that purchasing credits using a crypto currency is the closest alternative in terms of maintaining your anonymity.

We appreciate the convenience of PaySafeCard and the costs surrounding crypto, so understand this is not a viable long term solution.

You can buy credits in all common crypto currencies via the Buy Credits Page on the Desktop Site and WebApp.  To take a look now click here and look for "Bitcoin" or "Crypto".

We will mail again once a replacement e-Voucher system has been selected and implemented.  Thank you for your patience and continued custom.

Thanks and regards

The AdultWork.com Team

PayPoint...
Paypoint is not Paysafecard.

Paysafecard's logo used to appear where Neosurf's logo now appears.

I know, tell Gordon Bennett who was suggesting they were the same.

The same process, but I think that not all PayPoint locations sell the vouchers that AW take.

Can you walk into a shop with cash and buy a PayPoint voucher?

Some shops, but they don't all have their tills setup for the voucher AW takes and often you find the person at the till only knows how to access the frequently used PayPoint options.

They're everywhere. I've never had an issue getting a voucher either.

From what I can see there's no such thing as a PayPoint voucher you can buy with cash. I believe you had to buy a Paysafe voucher using the PayPoint network and now you buy a Neosurf voucher instead.

The general point of using PaySafe vouchers was they could be bought with cash. Can you do the same with Neosurf?

So, how are other punters topping up AW accounts?

I am out of credits and was going to do the usual Paysafe and see that its not accepted on AW anymore  :scare: :dash: :scare:
I tried my local Co-Op for a NeoSurf voucher (its listed on the neosurf website as a retailer) and hit a brick wall as they didnt know what I was talking about  :dash:

To pay online, dont you need to creaate an account? Which kind of defeats the annonymity point?

So I just tried the voucher, but if the online route is an option I could be convinced..... :unknown:

Yeah you have to create account and ID yourself to make sure that you are actually over 18.

I think you can pay it in cash but need to download the app on your phone, so you can have a barcode on it. So the shop keeper can scan it.

I did that when I was on paysafecard but never tried it on neosurf. Or just pay it online.

Still need to shopkeeper to know what neosurf is and if they know that then they can just as easily give you a voucher for cash.

Wish I'd checked before buying a £20 voucher :(
I just found out as well, but fortunately I don't do pay galleries often, so I bought even less than you.

Is there a way to get a refund on paysafe vouchers, or somewhere decent to spend them?

It’s going to be difficult to get a refund if you paid it with cash.

Just google the list of sites that accepts paysafecard.

Has anyone had success with Neosurf and keep all their privacey (cash payment and no 'verification')? If so any tips?  When I first tried PaySafe I had the same problem of some listed shop owner not knowing what it was!
