I have had a worst punting encounter recently that involves one of the highly rated escorts (a detailed review to follow) and I am wondering the punters who may have experienced anything unpleasant (due to their race, colour, nationality, language etc) would like to share their stories too.

I appreciate the escorts who clearly mentioned "they do not see polish, black or Chinese" and I actually give them credit to be truthful and genuine but a large number of escorts out there (in my opinion - can be wrong) do discriminate but do not want to mention on their profiles.

I do not play race cards but recently I had experienced discrimination first hand when a highly rated (Edinburgh based) escort decided not to proceed with the booking and told me to leave as soon as she saw me.  The cover up excuse she made was that I took the lift when I got to her building instead of the stairs. She did send me a text "... it's the stairs on your right" which I could not read and used the lift (that needed a code to work which I did not have). As a result I was late for about 5 mins (if that). She opened her flat door and as soon as I had an eye contact with her I concluded straightaway she was going to make an excuse. She asked me furiously why I was late and I told her I used the lift (at that point I did not know she sent me a message earlier to take the stairs; she did not warn me not to use the lift either). She went on "I can't see you. I am going to call my friend" and told me to leave. I did not even step inside her flat and left. 

I messaged her after that to explain it was an unintentional act to take the lift and she replied back "I was just thinking someone was going to attack me or rob me." , and I scared her (by using the lift).

I am not sure if taking the lift instead of stairs to her flat was a big deal that she refused to proceed with the booking. If it was not the big deal then the only other obvious reasons could be either she does not feel comfortable with new clients (she does not know) or she only sees men of certain race/races or nationalities (more convincing in this case but I could be wrong).

I must mention here that prior to that arranged booking she cancelled two bookings with me. I was going to write a review but she may feel very important so I am just going to leave it here.

could be many reasons;
- didn't like your look, you ugly? 
- scared ex/pimp appearing and they know lift code.
- maybe your race, however they will usually mention in text or on profile.
- and how did you enter the building.  was it intercom with camera so she could check you out first or you walk through open door?   WGs do have safety protocols so perhaps she thought it was a police raid.

I used the buzzer outside the building and she let me in. Inside the building I took the lift to go to her floor. The lift gives access only to the basement (parking) floor and requires a code (obviously I was not ware of this otherwise I would not have used it) to access all other floors. I ended up at the basement (parking) floor until someone called the lift from ground level (I was stuck in the lift for 3 mins) and from the ground floor I used the stairs to get to her flat.

- I am an average looking male (not ugly at all), and I was also wearing a (normal disposable blue) mask covering my mouth and nose so she was not able to see my looks.
- I never met or seen that escort before that day.
- I am totally convinced it was my race. I still remember clearly seeing disliking in her eyes when she opened the door and saw me (at that point my guts told me the meet was not going to happen).
- I did not pay attention if the buzzer had the camera but I think she may be able to see the building entrance from her flat window.

She texted me saying "she got sacred and thought I was going to either harm or rob her" and then she wrote I did not follow her clear instructions to use the stairs (in the text she wrote "... its the stairs on your right.." but SHE DID NOT WARN ME NOT TO USE THE LIFT).

I'd leave it to you to decide the reason...

Shouldn't take it personally it's the working girls choice who they see. Wether it's religious reasons racial profiling or safety security concerns.

I'll always ask the question if they see Asians to give them an out to avoid situations like this.  It's not nice for either party.

The point I’m trying to make here is that a small number of WGs (who are honest in my opinion) make it clear on their profiles they don’t see men from certain background ie black, Polish, Chinese etc. As a matter of fact there may be a large number of WGs who actually discriminate despite they knew they won’t see certain races and still do not make it clear on their profiles.

There is nae chance my truthful experience is believed when two moderators are of the opinion I was in the wrong despite the SP admitted she did not tell me not to use the lift. We agreed I’d come with an empty BBQ box (delivery guy) to maintain her privacy and to look more natural (while carrying the box) I used the lift since I was not sure how many stairs I had to take to get to her flat.

I apologised to SP if the actual reason was me taking the lift instead of the stairs (I’d not have used the lift if she had warned me or I had known it needed a code).

The lift required a code and you were stuck in the basement and the WG thought her instructions were fool proof, which clearly they weren't. So an unfortunate decision by you led to unfortunate circumstances and I reckon some of the blame can be shared in that Lily didn't explicitly warn you not to use the lift, that can be easily missed when trying to remain discreet and make your way to the location.

But I would encourage you to reevaluate your attitude.

In this case, you left out a whole lot of information in your OP that didn't suit your argument, and I can only assume that you did so because it didn't fit the picture you wanted to paint. It seems you jumped to the wrong conclusion (or chose the conclusion that suited your own prejudices) and constructed your argument around that.

Luckily, the WG concerned is a member and was able to fill in the details so we can all make a reasonable assessment of who is right and who is wrong. No doubt she has learned that, in future, when her 'delivery boys' arrive, she should tell them, explicitly, not to use the lift. Hopefully, you've learned something too.

I'm not sure that his wrong conclusion was based on prejudice. It might have been based on past experience with other SPs. Once you've been rejected because of your race it is probably easy to jump to the conclusion that future rejections are based on race too when in actual fact it was actually to do with the SP's concerns about lack of discretion.
