Was walking the town night club around midnight Friday and it was chaos. Scantily clad women men, drunk, all over each other.. and this was outside on the roads 😀. Wonder the action inside . Seems like freedom day was much awaited by the youth.
Yes my children tell me that even those not normally interested in clubbing are booking up events and getting there a lot earlier when they used to go later at night.Personally I feel sorry for the young, they have complied with a lot of restrictions which our generation probably wouldnt have done back in the 70s/80s and they also have to pick up the massive bill for all this.
I suspect if the proposed vaccination requirements to enter nightclubs becomes a thing, we will be going back to the good old days of raves in fields and abandoned warehouses. I totally agree, today's children have been considerably more compliant than previous, which I feel is a shame. As you say they are the ones that are going to pay both with having been locked down and missed so much, and financially for the rest of their lives.
Huge problem with some of the crowds these days. I know when people saw the money to be made the scene attracted violent drug dealers, now there seems to be a problem with gangs. I know it's generally safe with the hippie free party scene, but that's dying out mainly because a lot of the people who started it are now wanting to spend more time with their families or they're nearly retirement age
You are quite correct. The initial rave scene & the early versions of ecstasy promoted a loved up party atmosphere. Once the Gangsters realised how much money could be made, ecstasy was made more cheaply with higher risk of after effects & controlled by the Gangsters.
I heard the original ecstasy was much stronger as it contained some chemicals imported from Thailand. I've doubts that is true, but I've seen some wrecks due to it being cut with ket.
Wasn't it purer ie. closer to MDMA?As I recall, brown pills were ket and ones with brown flecks in had some heroin added. A few nights ended up being gash due to combinations of weird shit in pills and DJs deciding to vary their set with unusual tracks.
