It's easy for us to judge from our position of comfort, but I suppose the thing to consider here is these women's circumstances differ wildly also - is she doing out of her own free will or is there actually an element of coercion involved? If it's the former then do we fault her for wanting to better her position in life assuming she has no other alternatives, regardless whether she may be aware the cost of being involved in such dealings?
As usual, there's always nuances and more to it than just simple black and white.
You're right there are nuances. But it will become pretty apparent very early on in a fledgling relationship that the guy who is giving you all that lovely attention seems far better off than all the other guys in the neighbourhood. Seeing as you come from the same neighbourhood, you'd be in denial to think they'd won the lottery and chose little old you over the other girls.
I Ultimately it's the way of the world, just like men do, women make bad choices to better their sorry lives.
