So been sniffing around Gumtree looking for something interesting and found that this lightly reviewed new-ish place was advertising a £40 special offer, so I figured that (after reading the reviews here) a £40 made it worth the trip so phoned and got booked in.
But when I get there they tell me that the offer is only Aromatherapy massage and not the regular Thai massage - mmmmm.
So I really didn't fancy just an oily wipe and ended up coughing up the £50 for the "proper" massage. My advice, check on the phone to be sure £40 applies to what you want before making the trip.

Very nice place decor-wise etc. but the massive massage bed has no face-hole and it was fecking uncomfortable having to lay with a twisted neck - not an issue for many I'm sure, but when going for the strong massage it is not great for my dodgy neck being pressed into the bed....

Anyhoo, nice youngish unit doing the massage, with short bleached silvery hair, big tits and tight black uniform, and to be fair it was a good strong massage despite the above bed issue. But feck all in terms of body pressing or hints of things to come. First time for me she used 3 separate towels on top of me for much of the pressing / stretching - bit like being mummified especially in the dick area.

Overall I was a bit pissed off at the lack of clarity on the special offer, and the excessive towel wrapping so decided to wait any offered extras - and nothing came at all. She was clock checking from about 20mins to go, but got herself well and truly stuck into hard leg massaging and stretching until 5 mins left, then a bit of the double handed karate chopping and "thanks you sir".

So neutral rather than negative as the massage was good, the place is new, clean and fresh, and she put the effort in but nothing doing in the extras and for me anyway, I left with a worse neck than I went in with.  Not on my return again list.

Unless it's a place and masseuse I've had before, I usually, sit on the bed in boxers and coyly ask 'Boxers off or on'? With a good semi at that time, it's a pleasant way to introduce the honourable member.

If the answer is no, I expect it to be no extras. 'Off' or 'up to you' has always ended in extras.

Always everything off unless you are specifically told to keep your underwear on then you will know that it's a bona-fide massage and no extras available.  Quite often (especially in Thai massage places ) they cover your midriff with a towel until administrating the happy ending.

I'm a full kit off player to drop the hint early, but as I said this one triple-towelled me regardless. I know others have done better at this joint, but I guess like so many Thai & Chinese places  it's all about who is on that day. Maybe better if you're a regular, but impossible (well, for me anyway) to be a regular at too many places. So if it's a strike-out I tend not to go back, unless someone posts up a mega-review

As far as im concerned this is just your standard procedure of gambling with your ejaculation money. I have still to experience a massage that isn't basting or pleasant. Expensive hand jobs if they do even happen.

It's all a gamble, some punts just have better odds than others. Based on your Vivastreet reviews, for example, it's roughly 50/50 if you're going to end up with a negative experience.

I've experienced good, bad and indifferent massages but, where a meeting has taken place, only once have I come away without a release.

With a massage you have booked a massage. You are obliged to pay which in itself isn't an issue but often the massage is poor too.

In the majority of cases it's not difficult to spot, or find out, which massage shops/ladies are legitimate. The only time I've not received any "extras" was with a lady who'd been well reviewed as providing them. Similar to going to an FS provider and finding out her services aren't as advertised or as you've read in other reviews. I've booked a massage and turned and walked without paying.

The inference I've drawn is VS is a gamble. Based on your reviews, or VS reviews in general, it's a reasonable conclusion.

I enjoy the will she won’t she and don’t mind playing the long game. I know it’s not for everyone but I lose interest if it’s offered on a platter on the first session.

With massage, the adverts will say 'not a sexual service' so if you don't get your HE then you don't have a leg to stand on. Cost aside, if the massage is good then the HE is irrelevant and a bonus. What I have found is that going for a £25 ½ hour Thai massage, (hoping it's good enough for arousal) is not acceptable if extras are not purchased.
