Totally agree... I barely recall her at Crystal Suite - probably going back to the mid-90s/late 90-s and I have difficulty with putting people in ages back then anyway. But I certainly recall her at Lizzys then their own place further up Infrmary Rd in the late 00s/definitely no later than 2010. She was early-mid-60s then. So that means she's early to mid-70s now.

Yes, 6 years ago when Lizzy was bought out by City Sauna and made Lizzy's into Dolly's, which was an improvement in staff terms most of the time.  I also much preferred Dolly's to City itself so was sorry when it shut down, about 4 years ago.

Crystal Suite was one of those places out on a limb - away from the Attercliffe golden mile and one of those places I rarely went to - usually once or twice a year late at night. It was around for years and years and had a hidden reputation for being a place where you could end up in the midst of a bit of an ad hoc party.

It suffered badly in the floods (2003???) but it was already struggling a bit by then. There was a shitload of money  spent on the refub after the floods - doubtless insurance money - but very soon after that it closed down and I'm guessing that was probably more like 2008 - so yes, probably well over 10 years ago - closer to 15 I would guess.

She actually always struck me as being a bit 'slow' - if that isnt too insensitive, offensive and politically incorrect. Like you say - there wasn't anything about her that made me think 'I want a bit of that'- lovely friendly woman, but from age, looks, hair, body shape, outfits... nothing made me want any action. That said, of course I did.... Lizzys, along with First Class and Fantasia were places where you could get some satisfaction and gratification for very little money and if Lizzy was the only person to see (and for many, many years she was often the only person at the premises) then I would do the deed - but it was rarely memorable and much more of a means to an end.
