Author Topic: Negative review but still want to punt.  (Read 1465 times)

Has anyone read a negative review of a punt but because of the escort and she is what you are looking for in a punt you decided to see her even though the review was poor.

There is a escort I want to see but she has a negative review. I'm happy to lose money in this situation.

Can anyone relate to this ?

after the above very helpful response, i will try to be more objective.

The devil is always in the detail - what was the negative for, what parts of the review were negative, were any parts positive?. Is this one negative after a number of postives? who gave the negative? How much do you want to see her?

You say you don't mind taking a risk and perhaps lossing money - I can understand your view point to some extent. But only to some extent. You are a relatively experienced punter, you know the risks and what to look out for. So go for it and report back

Having a negative doesn't make it an automatic no to a booking. It really depends on what caused the negative. Some people just don't get on and sometimes it's the punter's fault (hygiene issues, poor comms, poor research during the booking process, expectations incorrectly set, problems following directions to venue, etc.). I generally take all reviews with a pinch of salt and also checkout the reviewer's review history too. Sometimes punters can be wankers and post negatives out of spite. There's always two sides to every story and for the most part you only hear the punter's version on here.

Some punters are fussier and more demanding than others. Some go with the flow and adapt to the SP.  It's all part of the experience of seeing different SPs.

The success of a booking is dependent on the behaviour of all the parties involved. It's not all on the SP.

If it's a review related to BB, drug use or poor hygiene then it'll probably be a no.

If the SP has a long list of negatives then most likely a no.

If the SP had a small number of negatives in a long list of positives and the negatives were spread over a decent period of time and the SP had the look I wanted then I'd still book her. I'd be taking a risk, but I'd be going into it with my eyes open.

I look for trends in an SP's feedback. If it's mostly good then I risk it. If it's mostly bad then probably not.

And I've read some reviews for SPs on here that bear no resemblance to my experience with the same SPs, so like I say, take each of them with a pinch of salt and look for trends - mostly positive then go for it and accept that it's called punting for a reason. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose.

It all depends on the reason for the negative and the reputation of the reviewer. But if I really just wanted to scratch an itch I'd do it anyway. I still plan to fuck the infamous Chloe of Milton Keynes one day and her bad rep on here goes far beyond a negative review.

Offline RedKettle

You always need to use your own judgement.

Knowing something about the reviewer helps.  There was a complete tosser on here who seemed to have a thing about giving negatives to WGs who already had a few positives.  I think he liked to make out that he had higher standards.  Anyway I saw a couple of women he had given a negative to and had a great time, in fact both of them were seen multiple times.  I actually started looking out for his negative reviews!!

No I am not going to say who it was, I believe he is still a member on here.

Offline Kerosene

I remember this red review kicking off quite some discussion which did pique my interest enough to pay her a visit. Which turned out good for me.

Honestly, can you make your own mind up about anything without starting a new thread

Of course it happens, read between the lines, if you fancy it, go for it, another load of conflicting info from a myriad of strangers on a forum cannot decide for you.

Yes. Say there's an SP with mixed reviews showing she is capable of delivering a fine experience when she can be bothered, but half the time (or more) she can't be bothered. There's one I have in mind (haven't gone for it though: retired or on a break). Getting a good session with her would be particularly gratifying, I'd imagine.

Spot on.
OP.....if you don't read any more on this thread.....then just read the above.

Yeah, I don't just go on the ratings. I also go on the reviewer.

If the reviewer is 100% fluffy positive on all bookings then I don't always give "full credit" to what they say in selecting a meet. Similarly if someone has a much higher proportion of negs it means that I am guarded in automatically ruling someone out.

You also need to look at the reasons for the neg. Some punters are keen to blame the failure of the punt on something which frankly is their fault.  If they haven't confirmed services before confirming the booking then don't be surprised if you don't get what you want.

This site is a great resource but treat it like any other kind of advice. Listen to everything and then make your own mind up.

There are 2 positive reviews of mine that I wouldn't have undertaken on the balance of the reviews prior to the meet. I am glad I did both and would revisit both.

It is important though that if you do see someone that you review as well. And if it is a neg, don't worry about any voices that say "you should have read the reviews".  Your extra contribution to the community in that scenario far outweighs such comments.

It's very rare to find an SP who delivers a consistently good service to everyone who walks through the door. We also have to do our part for an enjoyable experience, and sometimes people just don't click and there's nothing you can do about it.

One of my favourite SPs had mixed reviews here on UKP, I decided to visit her anyway as I really fancied her and always had a great time. But the reverse has also happened to me, I got mediocre experiences with a few girls who have mostly positive reviews.

The bottom line is YMMV. As long as the reviews aren't pointing out any blatant red flags, or everyone seems to have a bad experience, I'd say give her a try if you really fancy her.

Offline Coriniumstud

Because of negative reviews
I’d never seen a Romanian wg, but in the end I decided to take the plunge and my last two meets have been with Romanian’s and both have been great
I say just go for it

Offline Listerlad2011

It’s called taking a punt!

It’s your hard earned lolly spend it how you want. If the experience is good then

If it’s bad  just take it down as experience and move on to the next punt.

Offline Straightsix

I normally take note of bad reviews if 2 or 3 are of similar grievances. It also depends on how much you're willing to lose and your ability to walk if you change your mind.
As you are asking the question i suggest you go for it.

Details in the reviews are more important than the review rating. Each punter is different and their expectations are different, anyone who wants to see a WG should read her reviews and make their own decision.

Offline mr.bluesky

I would be more concerned if she had numerous negative reviews.

Offline BoobyNewbie

I think every WG I’ve seen has had at least one negative. One of the great things about this site is the ability to search all the reviews for an SP and assess them based on the bigger  picture.

Punting a girl with mostly greens but with a few reds is less risky than punting one with no reviews IMO. :unknown:

I'd forgive one neg depending on the reason, punting reviews are probably much like holiday reviews you'll always get one idiot that disagrees with everyone else and complains about irrelevant points.

Post a link to the reviews and we’ll help you decide.

Offline Silencio

Like others have said, totally depends on what the negative review says and who gave it. For example, some punters give a negative if the WG is larger/curvier than they looked or for their taste, I like curvier WGs so that wouldn't be a problem for me. Each to their own.

Offline JontyR

Further to my post yesterday I could use the OP as a good example. He has a 5-2-9 hit rate, seems to prefer shorter bookings and likes BBW.

As a result none of the above would put me off seeing a girl who he had negged if she ticked all my boxes and sounded ok during comms.

Well, she does have 32 positive reviews here, so there wasn't that much of a risk, was there?

Offline cal2

Thats the beauty of this site, you can make a more informed choice but at end of the day the choice is yours!

External Link/Members Only is an example of someone I wouldnt touch with a bargepole based on the negatives alone despite her physically being some I would have tried if I was feeling in the mood for a real slutty looking chick

Come on now, don't exaggerate, she only had 13 positives before she got the negative from a punter who said he would like to go back if she would have him after the review he posted.    :P

Offline Arfa2stroke

I have seen a couple of negs but a scratch needed itching
One was highly satisfying
Another was as I expected and should have walked .

Offline sunnyj

This WG got 23 negative reviews and it didn't stop UKP members from booking her.

I punt with who I fancy and if they have a negative review on here it depends who off of and what for in my view as to whether I would avoid or book them. I have booked 2 WGs that I gave dead comms negs for then given them another try, both then got pos review and one I saw a number of times before I assume she stopped working. That WG is shit at comms but great in the room, or has been in my experiences both this year and last.

So a WG getting a neg on here doesn't necessarily put me off, or even a number of negs. Of course a track record of positives over a period of time is great.
