Manchester Airport. What a rip off.
£6 just to pick someone up 
Had to go today. I was only there 5 minutes.

Same at most airports now, same for dropping off. take too long saying good bye and it goes up, quickly.

Scratch that 20 minute comment i've just looked before posting -
You can choose to be dropped off directly outside the terminals and train station. The charge for this is £5 for five minutes and £6 for 10 minutes and is payable at the exit barrier.

An overstay charge of £25.00 will apply after 10 minutes 

Robbing cunts, if your driving to the airport to pick someone up i'm not quite sure how you time arriving at the pick up point just as the people you are picking up get there 

Airport parking is also a fucking rip off, last time 2 weeks parking cost me more than the flight

Not really pick up/drop off is £5 and you have 15min to do everything after £1/1min.
If you want free hmmm medium stay is for 15min I think but to go to airport you are taking free bus.

No it isn't. And they've got vsome jobsworth driving round with anANPR equipped car to Rob any poor cunts that overstay.

I mostly use Brum and it's not possible to avoid charges unless you pick some one up before you get to the terminals.
I've never paid remotely near the cost for parking compared to parking where was that?

It was Manchester for 2 weeks.

Just looking at the prices now for 2 weeks and about £120 but the "Jet Parks" are currently closed, I guess with less demand they have closed some of the cheaper long stay options so you now have to pay for the more expensive car parks closer to the terminals 

They must make more money from the parking than they do from the flights etc

Stanstead and probably the others do have a free drop off/pick up area in the medium stay car park, but if you are going to use it allow plenty of time, because the bus service to the terminal is not frequent.

How is security improved by having to pay? Bit like CC and Lez, you can pollute if you pay.
