First off, I never went here in its previous guises, Scutty Brown's description of the PDM network always put me off when they came up in searches but for reasons too dull, I would find myself driving past two or three times a week and I watched a subtle transformation as workers and vans came and went, so one afternoon after shops were allowed to open, I popped in.
There's a long corridor from the front door to a waiting area at the back, with two treatment rooms off to the side. There's some evidence of the newsagents that it used to be but in general, it's been repainted and decorated with the usual paraphernalia. At the waiting area end, there's a shower, WC and washbasin and kitchen. There's a back door through the kitchen for those wanting to avoid onlookers at the bus stop opposite of patrons of the numerous takeaways.
Plenty of sanitiser and a QR code to scan, but I wasn't forced to do so. There were two girls and a guy at the back, all in masks. I was masked too but we made the best of trying to sort out the service and price. It took a little time but something about one of the girls was familiar so I asked her to move her mask aside. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was My Little China Girl from Sakura/Xanadu.
It turns out that the three of them, plus the other girl's boyfriend, have put in together to start their own place and are looking out for other locations also. So masks back on, a quick hug, and I take a trip down memory lane with MLCG giving me a relaxing 90 minutes B2B. Lots of teasing and usual tricks interspersed with a half decent massage. We chatted as best we could and I left very happy.
I've been back since and the other girl doesn't work there permanently. MLCG is the only permanent but there are others passing through, as you'd expect. The overwhelming colour scheme is pink and the treatment rooms have been recently repainted, with washbasins added. Each one has a sturdy, handbuilt wooden massage table that is covered with paper roll for each treatment. All more than fit for purpose and if you avail yourself of the shower, it's decent enough with gels etc provided.
