Nut allergy? Almond massage oil. Or something in their soap. Or something unpleasant on the massage table? Tiger balm can certainly make the skin flare up pink.

Some massage birds I’ve been to have this. No other valid reason explain the lack of ru and CC  :unknown: :D

Could be a skin infection transmitted from the last person who lay on the bed / table unless it's thoroughly cleaned / sterilised between each use but how likely is that  :unknown:
In a similar way it could be from a skin infection on the girls hands.

A reaction to nut oil or something else in the oil as already mentioned could be the problem or some kind of micro contamination of the oil itself.
Now while I don't think microbes can live in pure oil they can live in any other infusions or water present in the oil, realistically how clean do these girls keep the oils and the containers they use for massage  :unknown:
If they buy a big 5 litre container of oil as it's better value then decant it into a smaller more manageable bottle / jar etc to use during massage how often does the container actually get emptied and sterilised  :unknown: I'd bet either never or almost never

An allergic reaction would subside quite quickly, a skin infection might well persist and get worse, so the underlying  cause would probably become apparent after a couple of days. A couple of years ago I got a ringworm infection on my chest - bloody uncomfortable and stopped me punting for 3 months til it cleared up thru use of ointment from pharmacy.  I could have caught it at the gym or swimming pool (....... or maybe massage table)...... who knows and impossible to say, but it could happen

Two thoughts shower gel, or they've used a body hair removal method such as waxing or shaving.

I've had reactions to a hotel soap I'd previously not had a problem with, also a shower gel at outcall I freshened up with when soap was not available. The shower gel contained a stimulant ingredient usually found in pre-workout formulas. Can't remember the name, but I'll know if I see it again.

May be if too little oil has been used. I looked this up once after getting a bit of a rash on the back of my legs and that’s what I found. I didn’t see anything more sinister and it cleared up on its own.

Offline baildonrfu

It’s usually just a reaction to the oil. I’ve got really sensitive skin and if they use cheap oil or something heavily scented it’ll usually bring me up in a rash. Anything like coconut or sunflower oil and I don’t have a problem.

baby oil is mineral based and can cause allergic dermatitis.
Which  is why medical staff DON'T recommend it for babies - a vegetable oil is far safer

There's plenty of people on here that review overseas and it doesn't come up in the little counter on the left

Ive had this once after a visit to Pontip in Urmston. It was due to the type of essential oil the girl used because ive noticed similar issues with other essential oils. Clears up after a few days, nothing like a bit of anti-histamine to keep it away.

Quite true. Among my posts on the Europe site there are what are in effect reviews of some WGs which don't add to my review tally.

Might be worth asking which essential oils she used eg ylang ylang, jasmine bergamot then you can mention this as an allergy in the future.

Yep, and I'm stuck outside of the UK at the moment so thats the only place I'll be reviewing for a little while until the red list turns green!

Urmston? So sophisticated there the locals use 20w50 for lubricant

No. It's just that the forum has no overseas review boards, so overseas reviews have to go into "discussions" - and so don't add to the review scores
