Just spotted the forum stats page after all these years https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?action=stats and noticed that Goldfinch is rapidly approaching 1 full year of being logged into UKP

Finchy is a bit of a forum legend, I bet 80%+ of all reviews are indexed by him, he must have some kind of notification set up  I've worried a few times he'll index my own reviews before I've had the chance

More than that though...... one of them Goldfinches visited my garden a few weeks back and, due to his avatar, I was instantly able to identify it and thus impress the family members in attendance. His contributions are huge and transcend punting and spill into ornithology  too.

When people say "indexed my review for me" what do you mean? Are you talking about having a link in the review or is there something else I'm supposed to have been doing?

The indexing doesn't work properly at the moment but f you look at the top of each review it should index all the others on that SP

Yes having a link to the review. ie the adult work link or vivastreet/ gumtree link

You aren't a forum helper so I don't think you could index reviews.

The indexing doesn't work properly at the moment but f you look at the top of each review it should index all the others on that SP

0 review(s) for this service provider (AdultWork - 5358924) (0 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative) [Indexed by Goldfinch]

It's only the review count that isn't working, if you click the 'this service provider (AdultWork - 5358924)' link the review is there, any other reviews posted for that SP would show as well even though the count would still say zero.

The SP shown below has a review count of 1 but in fact she has 9 when you click the link.

He HAS indexed some of my reviews before I could do so, in my case I always check the A/W links I get before indexing. I previously posted on the open forum thanking Goldfinch and some others who index a lot, and add pics, these punters do a great job in my opinion and its much appreciated by me.

I have been a forum helper for 3 or 4 months and i hardly have an indexing to my name. Everytime i go to do one the bloody bloke has already been there! Once i couldn't sleep and logged into UKP about 3am and saw a review had been posted 8 minutes ago. Aha i thought, i have got one at last! But no, i was about 5 minutes too late! Even in the dead of night!

Only jesting about hating him of course! He is the legend that everyone here has said!

I'm hearing he had some bother at the weekend though and got badly mauled by one of the local villains, fortunately it was caught on camera and the offender is already well known, hope he's Ok and recovers soon
