As i under stand it when the girls confirm their account they have to show ID and what ever it says on the passport that's what goes on the profile, so is very unlikely she's a Rom unless she's got some mixed Italian/Romanian lineage it's not unheard off.
I think it's more likely she's Brazilian because when i lived in Sao Paulo i met a quite alot of Brazilans that had applied for or were applying for Italian citizenship with the idea they would come to work in Britain or other European countries. Italy only requires you to prove your parents are Italian citizens, so if your Dad applied because his Dad was italian and so on you can get Italian citizenship even though you maybe 3 or 4th generation. Thousands of Italians ran away from Mussolini's rule, then the war and then the aftermath hardship of the war right up until the 70's Brazil welcomed them all they settled mainly in the southern states and Sao Paulo because the climate and geography was similar to that of Italy even the language is similar. It happened in Argentina and Uruguay as well. The Germans and Japanese did the same.
