If you’ve read some of my previous reviews you may have seen I get this shoulder problem, I wanted it worked on and fancied a HE too, two birds with one stone. According to the reviews here I thought Chi in Middlesbrough was the place.
So I contacted by text, good communication, booked an appointment for the following day. This was my first time here and what I found was a surprisingly well set up establishment, very nice and well appointed. I was seen by a woman who I think was called Yasmin, pretty, approx 40. I told her about the shoulder problem and she took it seriously, we had a proper discussion about it. Then she went to work.
What followed was a fantastic massage, somewhat painful in the upper back and shoulder area, but in that “it’s doing you good” kind of way. It really did the trick. However I feel the genuine problem left her thinking I was a fully legit client, no HE or anything else offered, and I didn’t feel like asking her after we had got on so well and she had done such a great job. You may find this odd, but I don’t like to ask, I like to be offered.
I have to give it a positive, it was a great massage for £50/1 hour. I will go back for that alone.
The only downside is it left me wanting to pop, so despite my better intentions (not to mention budget) I ended up visiting another establishment (FS) only a couple of hours later. I’ll be writing that review right after this one.
