Tbh I have had this experience with her too, hence my comment doesn’t respond to last minute texts. I usually like to check last minute before walking up to someone’s door, especially in a suburban area. However from experience if you say a time, she will be there. Just walk to her door, but sounds like you didn’t know which door at this point.

Yes, that was exactly it. I only had the postcode (which is fine), it was all arranged by phone/ text about 5 days prior and when I sent a text the day before, I received a clear yes, all fine. On the day, nothing. I will try again though, in the hope it was a one-off.
