Wales seemed to have turned their form around. England are going backwards under Eddie Jones. They look a pale shadow of the team that beat the All Blacks in the World Cup 2 years ago. The problem with Eddie Jones is his loyalty to too many players even when they are off form. Considering the talent pool of players England have to choose from finishing 5th in the 6 nations is a poor show. I think it is time to move him on and bring in Warren Gatland. I am looking forward to the British Lions tour of South Africa which looks like going ahead although the games will likely be played behind closed doors. On their 6 nations showing I don't think there will be that many England players making the cut. With the next World cup only 2 years away England need to start rebuilding now.

Problem it’s England squad is only 7 players from the top 3 teams ( Bristol, Chief and Harlequins) in the Premiership and 5 players from Saracens in the 2 level of English Rugby. Eddie Jones is too loyal, never bothers about who is in form, would love to see Marcus Smith playing fo England.

Thought it was disgusting that the Premiership charged Scotland a six figure sum to release 5 players to play for Scotland against France. Scotland released English based player for free to play in the Premiership final last year. Sean Maitland sat on Saracens bench last night after being refused permission to play for his country. Remember it was not Scotland fault the France Scotland match was rescheduled, but Frances for breaking covid regulations.

Agree Marcus Smith should be an England regular. Top points scorer this season in the Premiership  what more does he have to do to get in the team.  :unknown: Eddie Jones also calls up a number of new players to his squad then never plays them.  :dash:

The team that played in the final a week later also did!
