This has always happened but got ridiculously worse since covid as many girls have been reluctant to meet face to face.

I'm not too bothered at the moment because I'm not punting right now. I can sort of understand why girls are doing it. Some are desperate for money and some others are pages set up by pimps who don't care anyway.  I gather that some girls have switched to cam work and actually increased their incomes if you believe the stories on other sites.
I don't much care at the moment what AW is like. BUT the test will come when lockdown rules ease off and visits are legal again. When that time comes, it is gong to annoy me and I'll just end up having to block lots of profiles. Dumb move on the girls/pimps part. If the girls do start booking meets, people like me who have previously blocked them will never know.

Finally someone has mentioned it. Every time I do a search I feel like posting this exact message. Just puts me off them full stop even if they do go on to escort after the lockdowns.

My theory is most of these girls have never been escorts or can girls and have turned to it for extra income due to lockdowns. Ticking all the boxes just gives them more exposure. Little do they know they’re being blacklisted by actual punters.

And you get a feel from the profile picture and just move staight on.

AW make money from webcamming, audio, Private Galleries, and many other sources.  Seemingly small amounts but multiply it by the 1,000s of profiles, I suspect that they are raking it in, so do not expect and action from them.

I've found that a big indicator is when they have the Escort box ticked and have loads of feedback, yet not one for escorting. I call them "Webscammers". They're basically webcammers only.

Easiest way for me is to see which have listed their phone number. Cam girls aren't going to list their number because they won't get any money if someone calls them through their phone.

It gets on my wick. It's worse over past 12 months because ladies that do meets can't receive feedback so you can't fall back to looking for escort feedback to get a sense of if they really offer meets.

I was feeling grumpy one day and found one that had escort box ticked but in her Q+A had something like "I do NOT do meets - anyone asking to meet will be blocked!!" so I reported her profile and fair do's the escort tick disappeared a few hours later.

As I said report them to AW.  Say “it goes against the spirit of the club” and they are misleading ads.  I’ve had a few removed that I’ve reported

My mitigation for this nonsense is to sort by _escort_ rating. This will relegate cam frauds to the bottom of the list. You can still combine this with a location and radius to restrict results to a given location.

The main issues with this approach is the most well-established escorts will always be listed first. Sometimes this isn't what you want as it might prioritise jaded, semi or fully retired WGs.

Those who are just flat out bad based on reviews here but somehow have high escorting feedback can be black listed. However, you'll miss more easily new, upcoming or part time talent which can be a shame as sometimes part-time WGs can be the best meets. One way to counter this is to find the point in the list where the feedback score initially drops down to low single digits and work backwards from there. Those listed after this point but with higher feedback are those with little to no escorting feedback and more cam/phone/IM etc. This will be typically be a mixed bag until you get into double figures but will at least give you sight of potentially decent providers with low feedback.

I've noticed in recent years that these fake escorts usually get one or two fake escort feedbacks to muddy the waters but they are usually obvious when you look.

Challenge with the pandemic is that it hasn't been possible for genuine escort feedback to be accrued for 12 months but once we unlock that should improve.

Tick dislike bareback
Go to rates & availability hourly rate 80 to 200
Tick pictures and tick a picture gallery

If you do that method, most of the webscammers are gone. And I don’t have to blacklist them.
