Was nudged to leave a review for this one off the back of seeing someone else who had a similar experience.

Called number on profile and went on to arrange a meet. Made a request for a deposit which seemed fair enough (hadn't done this for a long while) as she was far away from mine and I think a small sum of £50 isn't worth a scam (surely?)

Anyway, right after payment she confirmed and then radio silence, was an outcall so at least I hadn't made a journey but still super frustrating.

Fast forward a few months, I realised she was back on the scene, I thought I would try and get my own back. Timing was perfect (last day with my old company so using old company number) and ordered her an Uber to mine. She's about half way to my fake address in the middle of nowhere when I cancel the Uber. It cost me just more than £30 but must have pissed her off no end, blocked number and hopefully will teach her a lesson.

Also, having spoken to her on the phone, she sounds more Scottish than English just FYI

So, you mess her about and give her 2 routes to getting your identity.

Imagine the scenario, she calls your "old work phone" someone's using it as their new phone or as a temporary replacement.  They give her your contact details, enabling her to play silly games back at you.  Or just letting Sergie do it for her.

I don't get the "cancel Uber" bit, but the driver's not going to be happy if it affects him and gives her another route to your identity.

AND it costs you £30 on top of the £50 you lost already!

Silly

Such a selfish and juvenile act.

You could have posted here much earlier to warn other members and protect others being scammed.

And you can learn from the experience rather than getting your back on her losing more time and money.

Rule 1-  never give a deposit
Rule 2 - same as 1

Surely booking the Uber may have exposed your credit card, email etc. Won't the next user of your work phone wonder and report that prostitutes keep calling and maybe tell someone?
Seems quite risky if any of this is actually true.

I'm inclined to believe him given I was scammed by this same girl for the same amount via the same means (deposit) and from one of her positive reviews she is mentioned as being Scottish. No doubt the way the reviewer dealt with being scammed is really silly (just accept you got scammed, block her, leave a negative review to warn other punters and move on with your life) but I believe what happened to him genuinely happened.

I don't doubt for one minute he was scammed as anyone who pays a deposit is running that risk, and frankly get no sympathy from me  :hi:

Agree. Sounds like a load of **** to me too.

At the point the Uber is cancelled, the ride is classed as completed and he will have been charged up to that point (just read that on Uber).... So he will be out of pocket. The only way he will have gotten back at the passenger is that they will then have the inconvenience of paying/arranging to get back home.

He's been here nearly 4 years and had he contributed this earlier, could have saved you £50.
But the retribution bit is just bo**ocks.

The scenario is so "silly", I wonder if he paid her another £50 deposit for the second meeting.

Yeah, it is more than a bit irritating that had he posted a review of this experience earlier it would have saved me falling into the same trap (though at the end of the day I fully accept that was my own stupid fault for paying a deposit to begin with) but I just see no point getting upset over it, I can't change what happened.

The scenario is indeed silly, when I got scammed I just accepted it, blocked her number and the first thing I did when I got home was type up my negative review to warn other punters looking at her.

At the end of the day, I was a complete dumbass but if my negative review exposing her as a scammer can save even one other punter from being scammed, that is at least something.

Yeeeaah, thats not payback bro, even writing this, surely you must've been like..this don't make sense..just learn from your mistakes next time.

Its 2021 now people, unless you've seen the girl before and know she's trustworthy, NO DEPOSITS. Can't be making the same mistakes year after year.

Appreciate the feedback all, in hindsight, reading back I can see where suspicion will come from but;

a) it did happen and
b) it probably wasn't Liam Neeson in Taken style payback - more just annoying inconvenience for her.

Lesson learned re; deposits though !

I can believe that someone might act in this way - cutting off your nose to spite your face and all that - but it's incredibly childish and he deserves to be called a dickhead for it, particularly if you consider the perspective off exposing a woman to potential risk/harm.

The important thing from a punting perspective is that we have a SP who has form for scamming punters.

Exactly. But then consider if it didn't happen, he made all that up, typed it and clicked submit! I wonder what reactions  he thought he might get....

To be fair to Liam Neeson, I don't think he'd have been so dim as to pay for a taxi to meet his nemesis unless he had a treat planned for them on arrival. Fucking someone around because they've done it to you is one thing, costing yourself cash to cause them a minor inconvenience........  :dash:

But hey, each to their own !

And to your credit you had the good grace to tell the rest of us.
Which is revenge in its own right, as by sharing that information you've cost her thousand's in potential earnings that now simply won't happen.

For that, we should salute you.

As others have already said, the best and only way to get your own back is to post a negative review ASAP and that also means you could've saved the other guy who got scammed too. (And who knows who else!)

And IF the story is true, you've lost a further £30 anyway. This sounds like awful retribution when you're at a loss again.

Also this WG sounds like an absolute bitch.

Yeah I just don't understand this WG, she seems to sometimes go through with bookings and other times just scam punters. I appreciate I was a complete idiot to pay her a deposit to begin with I just would have thought these WGs would stick to one thing or another; either scam punters or actually go through with bookings. As soon as you scam some and they out you, you're in trouble.

so you are £80 out of pocket
if she does this on a reg basis £50 a time soon mounts up
cant believe anyone would be that stupid to be honest

I can beat this.

"I once paid a deposit for two WGs for an outcall at my house and when they arrived I let them in - and jumped out the toilet window! They were there for hours without me! When I came back a fortnight later they'd nicked my Porsche, iPads and 8K telly, but it was worth it for the laugh! Great bantz!  ;)"

Yeah, except:

1. His card details are on file. Uber wouldn't be happy with him cancelling. More than likely the driver would complete the journey and there would be a chargeback.

2. He used his work phone like an idiot.

3. The £50 deposit he originally paid to her more than likely covered enough for her to get an uber/taxi back to her house and still have some leftover.

4. Why didn't he have to pay a deposit the second time?

Currently in Sutton offering "outcalls" at £240 for the hour or

Agreed, you can buy a LOT of fun for £80. I can do two live music gigs and pay for my beer and a t-shirt at both for that sort of money.
And as someone else said, you can't cancel an Uber, as a) you'll still get charged and b) they'll flag you as a time wasting dickhead, and probably blacklist you.
Seems like an idiotically expensive way to cause problems for yourself, with little if any inconvenience to anyone else !

Never, ever give a deposit. If they need to take a taxi, you pay for it on arrival. Simple.

We've all done silly things in the punting game. I've been done by 'regulars' who say they want to see me etc and then take money and run. Some of whom were 3 year old regulars.

There is zero ethics in this game no matter how well you think you know the girl. I've sworn never again.

You watch how quiet and quickly they disappear (sometimes out of the country) when you say you aren't prepared to pay upfront.

As for the Uber thing. What a waste of time and money. Just leave a negative here. If it costs her one booking that is way more than that time.

I don't believe it is bollocks. I really believe he did do this and really believe it was a very stupid thing to do and this is coming from the person who got scammed by her as well because I was stupid enough to give her a deposit.

My approach was to accept I'm an idiot and got scammed, learn my lesson and never again pay a deposit and write a negative review to warn others about this scammer.

I congratulate the op. I certainly think its worth the money spent to fuck with a scammer.  There is little risk here too, you guys are just paranoid.  Cancelled uber trips just pull over and let the rider off, there is none of this "i have to complete the journey" or "i have your credit card on file" etc.  Its not even really a cancellation most times, just a route change.  I would like to think the scam girl is broke and cant afford the uber back which is probably op's goal.
If you get scammed or fucked with you absolutely owe it to youself and everyone else to fuck with them back.  I would have no problem spending money to do so, i would consider it a game.  All you guys that quietly accept the scam and move on are the ones that are the problem.  All reward, no risk for the scammers so why stop?  Did you always give the bully your lolly pop too?

Bravo Yankee41 well said, agree 100%. Wish he had sent her to the Isle of Wight, well done for getting a scammer on behalf of a lot us us. I would have contributed to a fund to send her further......

Offline martleto88

You screw her but you put the Uber driver on a weird situation cause he doesn’t get paid the full amount. I did Uber part time long time ago. And in situations like that you are having an Uber driver frustrated and he has to kick her out. The driver or she doesn’t see your details. Drivers see only for example John B. and pick up drop off on the invoice nothing else. But yes from other side it’s fun but she can screw you up big time because she can contact this old phone in future and tell your little secret if u don’t care screw it 😄 but i never give them deposit. Deposit is for cars and houses but not for escorts. Deposit means i am not coming 😂
Oh and i live in around the area... she is well known. Not with everyone but yes. I have friends who she try scamming them
