Was thinking about getting back to punting as a number of SP's are advertising that they are available.  I'm a very careful punter (separate phone, cash stashed away etc.) but then the thought came to me that if any of the SP's nosey neighbor's decided to put a call into covid police, they would have a valid reason to knock on the door and see why I was breaking restrictions.  That could be well embarrassing / relationship ending, so decided to wait until all clear is sounded. It makes a change that I think with my head instead of my knob  :D

There are plenty of media stories around here of neighbours reporting neighbours for comings and goings outside the rules.  Usually wedding parties, birthday get togethers etc.

I do accept that comings and goings into a private house of a WG could also attract such attention.

Better safe than sorry OP. Just stick to WG operating from flats. Going into a big appartement building will make you far less conspicuous and make it nearly impossible to know which door you went to. If you're still scared that the police might wait for you outside on your way out then I'd suggest punting is not for you

And you're telling us this because????

Many of the places I find myself knocking on doors, the last thing the neighbours would want is police in their street  :scare:

In apartment blocks the neighbours are in the same building, on the same corridor...  even en France.

I stand corrected. I was thinking of neighbours watching from across the street as I thought that's what the OP was concerned about but you're right might happen with neighbours from across the corridor.

...  even en France.
What's France got to do with it?

Nah! just do what I do a hi-viz jacket and a clipboard! Simples!

You can be anyone then from the water co, Gas board, meter reader, man from the council, enviromental health investigating odd noises in the walls at night!

Always worth knocking a few other doors to see if you find a wanton woman in need.

If the escort is seeing 5 - 8 guys in one day, and that draws the attention of the neighbors, depending where this is, you might find your self in a lot of trouble

In Scotland its no longer an excuse, just to be out, you now need to be out for an essential reason.  So if stopped by Police Scotland, and your asked why your out, if trying to enter the escort flat, think your screwed

Its essential travel for us all, not just Scotland, hence the thread.

if she's getting the gas meter reader five times a day that might wear a bit thin. neighbours may well already know she 'works' and gets lots of men turning up for half an hour - an hour - or whatever, so the continued arrival of males now during lockdown is going to be pretty obvious.

Has anybody heard of any cops actually knocking on doors or raiding a private address, fining a WG or a punter or feeling the collar of a WG or punter  for lockdown breaches?

I suspect they’d go for easy or obvious targets. So as long as the sp is vaguely sensible and discreet then I don’t thing the police have the resources. Also I think they have limited powers on right to entry too

Offline Milfman1112

I don't think they will be looking for individuals, more big groups of people they will go to stop.

That was my original thought and I used the ruse of a Support bubble during the first Lockdown last year.

However, each of you has to be living on their own; so, particularly if the SP's neighbours are aware of a regular number of blokes visiting her, it might be more difficult for her to claim that she's living alone.

Additionally - and I'm not 100% sure of this - but I think that the 'Guidance' which covered Support bubbles last year has been replaced by legislation which has to be satisfied; and if it isn't, could cost a hefty fine. I suspect that might have something to do with an awareness that the laws on Social distancing were being bent to a ridiculous level.
