Author Topic: Hot-paigex - Bath/ Bristol..... avoid like the plague SCAMMER (Read 2014 times)

First time leaving a review so bear with me.

1 Hour Outcall- £180 (£20 for travel from Bath)

After messaging 2/3 possible punts this one was the only one who replied. After getting requirements and details out of the way she asked for 50% upfront....... not a problem I thought, had a few punts recently do that as they want to be sure we’re genuine and not wasting their time.
Sent money and told was on her way from Bath. 45mins later message saying she was outside my flat and what number flat. Messaged back asking if she had the right place as my flat faces onto the road and not seen any traffic go past. Told her the number then got the following message:

Okay Please send the remaining balance before i come to the door babe for my safety and security xxxx

Alarm bells ring and when challenged received the next message:

Im parked literally 1min away babe i prefer bank transfer or PayPal for my safety and security babe I've had bad experiences with fake money and held without payment sorry xxxxxxxx

Then no response to any texts after, so half the money out of pocket and a lesson learned.

It's an obvious fake profile, even bareback is listed.

How is it fake if bareback is listed?? There are plenty on her who list bareback and when I checked the profile to contact it wasn’t listed. If it had have been I’d have avoided it

Oh forgot to add that I did speak to them on the phone, so if that’s not doing all your checks I don’t know what is

Never do advance payment unless they have good feedback and are well vetted on here.

I looked at her profile and she had zero feedback and offered bareback and was averagely priced with a newly made profile. That indicated she was too good to be true.

Sorry for your mishap, you live and learn....

just curious what does speaking on the phone achieve in avoiding scammers/timewasters? This isn’t a fail safe check at all

Well I doesn’t achieve anything as anyone is capable of it but I get for them it makes it more believable.

Profile created 4 days ago, 0 feedback, she has everything on her like list, 0 effort put in profile details. You are very naive if you think it was a legit profile at any point, especially when she even asked for a deposit?

Some of my best punts in recent years have been from profiles that were short and undetailed. As for zero feedback, that means nothing as AW has stopped you making booking, therefore feedback can’t be left. As for her like list I’d say only 1/3 of it was ticked at the time I viewed it and contacted her.

Nothing new. She kept changing her name when she was trying to scam Oxfordshire.

Certainly scores highly on the communication front.
After reading, felt compelled to reach out and impressive response timescales.
Subsequently told her to forget it, (in no uncertain terms,) as I'd just read a UKP review; yet to hear back.....(?)

Possibly, but it seems that shes been doing this a long time so probably already aware she'd been reported as a scammer.

Ultimately though it's probably best not to let them know in this fashion.
