Lens seems to pick up most of the Brazilians who are using photos from instagram models but occasionally comes up blank like you say, so would be nice to be able to double check…
Each engine is evolving for better or worse at times, Google was quite good but then they started to AB test different things with different people (I have 2 logins) so sometimes you get awhat seems a fairly simple but undescriminating search other times you get an "oh you want to buy what's being worn or in the background" presumptious piece of garbage.
Best to look up some recent assessments of best image search engines and try them out. Yandex also used to be good because it was more Russian, Eastern Bloc focussed where alot the girls used to come from and alot of piracy of images. Also need something that gets behind all the social media platforms rather than their own brand and preferably internationally, again why you need something for Russia as well as Far East and South America.
Bing seems to be crap almost always but very occasionally pops. Tineye variable. With some of the main players being unreliable newer unfiltered engines may be better in their niches. Pimeyes gets face matches sometimes but is limited because it charges for access to links once it shows you matches.
Once you id a collection to cover most bases you can find phone apps which hit a multitude of engines, possibly ones you choose, so look at those. They aren't consistently supported so you may find they break when a Search Engine (deliberately) changes to force people to come to them directly. All in the name of ads and monetisation.
Similar apps exist as extensions to be added to your computer browser, which can be easier to operate than on a touch screen.
