Recon there must be still a few of us around still using it despite notification that support ceased. But I'm still getting regular updates to install.
Recently been getting a notification from Adobe Flash Player to say support now ceased. Two tabs at bottom. One says remind me later the other says uninstall. Being wary of uninstalling anything whilst computer operating normally always click on remind me later. Goes away for a few days, but then returns for a few days more. Is there any way I can prevent this notification from ever returning?

I have a Windows 10 operating system and I've received the message.
I've been aware for a while that support for Flash Player ends in December, so will probably uninstall it then.

I'm in the same situation, also I hear cam sites which rely on flash will have to find an alternative by December.

I use only Macs since 1987 and was also advised to uninstall Adobe Flash.

Thank you guys for your input. However, I'm peed off with the notification appearing every few days. Any way I can stop it? I could click on unistall. But as computer working good, don't want to get problems uninstalling something not giving me problems in the first place.?

It's a 3rd party flash player by Adobe and won't stop your operating system from working.
Flash/java content is being phased out now anyway.
Keep on top of your security updates for win 7, and a few different browsers.
Internet explorer is the most likely to complain as it ages

I don't think Win 7 is still supported/updated.

I use Windows 10 and recently it started trying to install some sort of update which resulted in a black screen.  Searching the internet, I found a workaround to uninstall recent updates, restore previous OS and also prevent (at least temporarily) the system trying to update again.  Sorry I don't remember the exact details of what I did but it's stopped the annoying notifications whilst still allowing security updates etc.  Maybe you could find something similar which would work for Windows 7??  Or alternatively wait for Windows 7 to become history and they won't bother you any more; until recently I had an old computer running Windows Vista and it served me well up to the end.

Good advice.   Removing, flash and Java is likely to make a machine more secure.

Support and updates for Windows 7 stopped on January 14th this year, are you sure it's Win 7 you have and the updates are for Windows and not other software.

I've got Windows7 and because of Microsoft's dire warnings about potential threats to all my data I bought a new PC with Windows 10.

However, having got used to W7 I've lazily opted to continue using the old one. I too have received occasional MS updates - to my surprise.

So far, touch wood, none of MS's predictions have materialised , so pissed off at having been conned into a seemingly unwarranted purchase.

Unless you work for a company that has paid Microsoft handsomely for the privilege then you are not getting any OS updates to install (I think there was one W7 OS update issued since January as an exception because it was so easy to exploit and MS didn't want the bad publicity). You might be getting things like Windows Defender updates and updates for 3rd party stuff like the Flash Player, but not any OS updates. Look at your update history.

1) Ditch Flash Player. If you are using a website that needs it then it is a bad website. Ditch Java at the same time ideally.
2) Upgrade to Win 10 or buy a new PC with Win 10. Or abandon the PC altogether and use a tablet with keyboard.
