Don't worry your not missing much there considering video games are pretty juvenile and adults who play them constantly are immature. It's so sad to see so many of my fellow millennials wasting their lives away on video games when there are so many opportunities in life to experience and adult orientated hobbies to partake in. Video games are not a healthy hobby for an adult
There's a place a for everything.
I like the odd bit of COD etc. Yes I get my ass kicked by some little scrote camping somewhere, or can make 50 moves by the time I've even pressed a mouse button, but it can be fun and escapism.
Like the odd bit of Diablo type games, Fallout, or builder games, and still play old adventure games.
One problem is that a lot of adult activities aren't available at present. Less women on AW etc., bars aren't open quite as much, you can't get close to people in a lot of places and so on.
Lots of people are cautious about going out, with some pulling back in horror should you be in the same room as them.
Makes it harder to meet people and socialise (was in Manchester city centre a couple of evenings earlier this week and it was dead to say the least. Normally it would be pretty busy around the Arndale / Printworks area, but all the food and drink places seemed empty or were closed).
Yes, younger ones might be going out a bit, but if you're not in the 18-23yo age bracket, you stick out like a sore thumb, and a lot of us don't want to have to register to sit in a pub, Spoons' table service, can't come in as 3 people are inside already, and be prevented from being near anyone outside your immediate group.....and that might be before having to pre-book a lot of places.
