I was out and about today picking up some materials from suppliers. I needed to get some diesel so whilst filling up a truck with this signwritten on it pulled onto the forecourt.

I have to say I was quite tickled by it and yes, before you ask the driver did look quite Butch.

I noticed a sponsors logo on an F1 car at the weekend possibly a Williams. Pretty sure it was DP Sport or something which made me raise my eyebrows.

A few years ago on holiday to Majorca stood outside a restaurant/bar called Indiana Johns which made me chuckle.

I dont have a picture but there was a business called "BJ Services" up north. Saw a couple of unfortunate guys wearing the t-shirts.

I believe that near Cowbridge south Wales there is/used to be BJ's Cafe.

Not too long ago, I passed a sandwich shop called "Big Baps". Right next door, was a branch of Coral bookmakers, and the big letter "C" had fallen off ....Oral, and big baps.....

Was out having a stroll near London countryside once with missus and a car pulled over with four lads inside, the driver pissing himself laughing and attempting to ask for directions to "The Cockwell Inn". Me and the missus just looked at each other blankly and I said "Chalkwell Inn? Never heard of it." and walked off.

"Cocks" as a surname is fairly common in the South West, originating in Cornwall I believe.

I once worked with a woman who got married to a Mr Beaver. I remember responding to a telephone enquiry telling someone they should write to Mrs Beaver and there being a verbal explosion on the other end of the line. It was a female caller, and I think she thought I was taking the piss.

Just a variant on Cox really.

I always found the US sitcom Leave it to Beaver amusing for that reason.

I always remember the joke when I was a teenager about a local swingers do being hosted at the Cockswell Inn, works on so many levels

I actually drive past a sign for The Dog Inn at Belthorn in Lancs when i'm driving over to Manchester for a punt
