I have heard about this lack of Agencies checking WGs ID many times before, a very poor standard not to check the basics in my opinion. You did lie which if a punter had been caught with you could of led to his prosecution and very serious consequences to him.

Indeed, the seriousness of what could of happened to a punter cant be underestimated here, ruining his life isnt an over statement in my opinion all because a WG couldnt wait till she was 18. It shows a complete lack of giving a toss in my view and subsequent posts havent helped.

teenkylie, I've not read all tge posts so forgive if i get somthing wrong.

i think the point that is  being made to you is that you do not seem to grasp the enorminity of the situation you would be putting a punter when you were working at 17 and underage. if evidence was found indeed if evidence could still be found then the punter could/would be sentenced to a prison sentence and would be on the sex offenders register for life. this would seriously hinder the punters future career opportunities as well as the shame and social embrassment it would cause.

the agency you worked for bares some responsability for not checking your passport to confirm you are 18 or over. however by you not being truthful about you age would have put punters in a grave situation and as as stated if evidence could be found will still have the possability of being prsecuted even if it is a small chance.

from your point of view it was a minor thing however a minor thing with massive implications.

my advice is just to leavr this debate alone and let the thread die but try to accept the danger you put punters in.

the paid sex scene exists in a grey area on the verges of legality and illegality. it doesn't take much.

You will have to get legal input but females under 18 are classed as children for prostitution.  Whilst the WG may claim she is coerced some poor bloke who unwittingly sleeps with a lying WG (claiming to be over 18) may well end up in court.  Any records the WG may keep will be removed and held by the police.
The statute of limitations may apply but even now any punter who screwed TK could well end up in court were the police to take an interest.

TK's lie meant that guys were put in a very dangerous position - I am not disputing this at all, and it is very serious. Her lie however small was wrong. She herself working under the age of 18 wasn't commiting a crime, however I actually do feel quite strongly about those underage in all sorts of situations who do cause adults to unwittingly commit what could be criminal offences. The law makes these out to be victims, but since criminal responsibility is deemed at around 13 or so(correct me if I am wrong), then perhaps it should become a crime to falsify your age in order to obtain certain priviledges(and thence putting unwitting adults at risk).

In fact it is not over with as the staute of limitations applies and your clients could still be arrested.   Most unlikely the police would bother about your lies but, were you to offend the plod, they might well take you apart.   Failing to help the police and threatened with a spell in jail you would blabber every detail you could recall.
