Looks like STB are reinventing themselves, are they under new management?

Didn't like them before the name change, always taken exception to them saying "often emulated, never surpassed", way too bold a statement.  That said they do appear to being sensible.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) STATEMENT

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) we would like to assure our customers that we are taking extra reasonable and practical steps to help towards tackling, preventing & reducing the risk of transmission.

Due to the virus all MOUTH TO MOUTH services are BANNED !
We are aware that many will be disappointed at this, but we are sure you all understand why this decision has been made due to the high risk involved.

Whilst we have always prided ourselves on having much more rigorous hygiene practices than other massage parlours by ensuring all bed linen is changed after every client and the room cleaned during the current COVID19 pandemic we not only continue with these but shall be taking further actions.

Please be aware and understand that due to the Corona virus pandemic we reserve the right to refuse entry to any customers showing signs or symptoms of Covid-19. Also please be aware that any ladies showing such signs will also not be allowed to work.

These premises are regularly cleaned as a general rule, obvious hotspots such as door handles, toilets, light switches, handrails and items within the rooms will all be cleaned at the beginning of each day and also receive extra cleaning throughout the day in an effort to reduce any risk.

All visitors, including staff are REQUIRED to use the hand sanitiser provided upon arrival. Failure to do so will result in refusal of entry,

We have always provided shower facilities for customers to use both before and after a massage. This is now a REQUIREMENT ! All customers MUST shower properly before a massage. Fresh clean towels are provided and will be laundered using ANTIBACTERIAL ashing powder between each customer.

All staff members have been advised to wash their hands frequently, using anti-bacterial soaps & hot water. The appropriate time to wash hands should be a minimum of 25 seconds (an easy way to remember this is it is the time taken to sing the happy birthday song twice ).

Covid-19 is a respiratory virus transmitted in the same ways as a common cold would be via sneezing, coughing & direct skin contact or via object such as door handles (hence why regularly washing or sanitising hands is so important to prevent the spread).

We are happy to report that to date there have been no reported cases for individuals working or coming into contact with our staff or within our business and family members. We have are all taking measures both at work and at home to ensure this continues to be the case.

All staff members have been advised to drink water regularly to ensure their mouth & throat are not dry at any given moment, this will help to wash any bacteria in the mouth down to the stomach quicker where the acids inside the stomach can kill it. Staff have also been advised to use antibacterial mouthwash as an additional preventative measure

All staff members have been advised that when coughing or sneezing to do so into a flexed elbow or tissue & not directly into the naked hand and dispose of the tissue down the nearest toilet and thoroughly wash their hands after. They have also been advised that should they do so into their elbow that this is also sprayed with antibacterial/sanitising spray.

We will continue to work to these standards for the foreseeable future and continue to monitor the way in which we work to minimise all risks of transmission.

Whilst this industry always has and always will have certain risks attached to it we have always tried to do our best to act and advise in an effort to reduce this risk as mush as possible. We now ask that all customers also look at their own hygiene practices to assist us in our endeavour.

Assuring you all of our commitment to staff and customer safety at this time.

They haven't changed their name the Soft Touch Bodyworks website still operates:-

presumably they own both sites; the two websites are copies with just a name change at the top.

I see an employment opportunity here for you as a receptionist vacancy is being advertised.  The ad which states would suit a female over 30 years without children is clearly in breach of the The Equality Act 2010 on any number of counts. Perhaps if you point this out to them you might get a free massage (or a job).

Was just about to add the same comment. In fact Daydreams is the name of a long defunct Northampton parlour if my memory serves me. They probably acquired the use of the name.

Did Massage Northampton used to be called by that name?

You might be right Major. Massage Northampton used to be called by a different name before the present one,  but I can't say for sure if they reused the name Daydreams, after the original parlour closed.
But I think One Eyed Panda is right. As I recall, many years ago there was a terraced house/flat on St. Edmunds Street in central Northampton,  which had a sign 'Daydreams' on the door. I think this was the original Daydreams parlour as I recall going in there many moons ago. I can't remember the name of the WG I saw, or recall her appearance,  except that she was a slim lady and it was a neutral experience.

I've no idea if this is true just something I was told. . .

There was a lady who owned two massage parlours; one on St. James Mill Road, Northampton and the other on Kettering Road, Northampton.  She gave one each to her two daughters on the condition they didn't sell them however the daughter who was given (bequeathed?)  Kettering Road parlour did sell hers and its name changed to Massage Northampton.

Yes Wadebridge you are right. The old Daydreams parlour was on the corner of St Edmunds Street and Denmark Road and closed down many years ago.
I used to go there occasionally and someone did tell me at the time that it was owned by the proprietors of Soft Touch. I preferred to go there as Soft Touch was a bit public for me to be seen going into.
Talking about defunct parlours in Northampton does anyone remember the Paradise Health Spa in Ambush Street. That one shut down in the early noughties I believe. I used to be a regular there and met some cracking ladies.
There was also one on the Wellingborough Road not far from Daydreams but that one didn`t last all that long. There was an adult shop nearby.
Quality not that good in that one.
There was also a short lived one in Kingsthorpe on the Harborough Road just up from Waitrose. Pounded Tiffany many a time up there and later when she moved to a flat down near Morrisons. Then my mate opened a phone shop next door and that put the mockers on it. He took great pleasure in telling me that there was a knocking shop next door to his office. I of course said - "surely not - things like that don`t happen in Northampton".
20 odd years ago there were some good times to be had if you knew where to go.

Is there currently two parlours in Northampton now? No signs of temptations/hot box opening up?

The Kettering road place was simply known as 171 kettering road. Its the same place but the access must have changed to 173 or whatever now its MN. It was shut for a few years.

Daydreams was formerly in St james as far as I remember.

171 had some great girls including Josephine James before she did porn.

as long as all it is an opinion, then it doesn't breach anything, of course,, we all know that that means they need flexibility and if you cant offer that they arent going to offer you the job.

Personally the bullshit that is the employment equality act is just that, bullshit, in some scenarios it trys to force employers to employ people that are not suitable for their needs

Obviously you are well versed in this legislation - here is some light reading External Link/Members Only - the specification here fails on every count.
