As sort of borderline "at risk" I've been in complete cockdown since March, and probably will remain so for a bit longer.  Once concern I have is how hotels are functioning when you are visiting a lady who is the keyholder there.  Are they having to keep tabs on who visits?  Is an interception more likely?

Offline chesterpunter

The hotels ive visited have asked for phone and email...although not to punt, i was working.
Now is the time....if you havent already to deffinately get the 2nd email and punting sim card sorted.
I know massage shops are asking for these 2 as well.

Got it covered. I never use my phone. I take the wife's.  ;)

I got intercepted at a Hotel meet yesterday 🤬

Problem was that the lobby was empty and there was 5 staff around with nothing to do, so they asked me if I was a guest. I said I was there to see a friend and they replied that guests were not allowed visitors and that we could only meet in the lobby 😑

Had to activate a Plan B, and the SP in question was suitably unimpressed with the hotel antics 😑

It was almost an 80min round trip wasted 😒

As I suggested on another thread this is going to be a big problem going forward as so many 'in calls' were hotel based pre lockdown and without that facility many providers will struggle until things settle down and hotel staff become less vigilant.

With quiet hotels punters are going to stick out likes or thumbs so supply may dwindle

Yep, I mainly punted in hotels, so I won't be punting until they're busy again.

Yeah, can't see point of heading to a hotel when it's 50/50 at best that you'll actually make it to her door.

Had comms with a girl last week & she was working out of a hotel in central Manchester, had a feeling it could  be problematic getting in & out (fnar fnar!)
In the end the booking never happened so I never found out how  observant  hotel staff are these days.

When you say Plan B do you mean another SP?

Yep.  I think so.  Nice to know there is another way.  I think I'm too chicken at this juncture.  The hard-on/fear graph is still biased towards fear at present but it's only a matter of time.

I think, to be fair, and I wouldn't normally say this, but with my non-punting head on they are doing absolutely the right thing with this as they are. In a time of no virus when they stick their nose in, they can piss right off, however.

Thanks. I'd be telling a porky if a grin didn't fill my face as I laughed at my own joke at the time. I caught myself unawares!

Hotels in Heathrow aren’t letting you in even to use the toilet or the bar. My client did a walk in to check for me today. They stopped him and said we can only let you in if you are staying in the hotel.

I’m sticking to serviced apartments for the whole of this year. I’m finding them actually cheaper and more discreet. And choosing ones with on street parking helps as well.

So use the Rear entrance (Pnar Pnar)  ;)

This was the main reason why i've never liked hotels anyway so tend to parlour punt, perhaps this may actually help parlours regain some of the business they have lost since AW Indi's seem to have taken over  :unknown:

That one by the casino in Manchester, can’t remember the name but its fairly down market / scruffy will now be ideal due to the reception being tucked away somewhere.

Never been but is that the one opposite Sainsbury car park  :unknown:

I was wondering about places such as Holiday Inn where you can normally jump straight in the ground floor lift and go to the floor you want bypassing reception which is on the 1st floor.
However i've also heard that after 10 - 11 PM the lifts are changed so you only go up 1 floor to reception  :scare:

Given WG's shit communications whenever i've tried to get details from them on where are the lifts in relation to reception etc then they are just as likely to send you straight into reception to be questioned  :dash:

You have a pm with the full details.

I was intercepted at a Holiday Inn, and yes the instructions from the SP could have been better, BR are you Mystic Meg? 🔮

My advice given my experience is that unless you know the exact layout of the hotel, don't bother with Hotel incalls, it'll be a giant waste of time, leading to calling up a plan B, C, or Z and all the stress that entails... 😑

That is an utter utter shithole though.

Really? I’ve used it a few times. It’s not the ritz but it’s not that bad. The rooms were a fair size, clean and no issues with reception. Besides I’m not staying there. I’m nipping in for a fuck, it serves it’s purpose. Plus the supermarket across the way is handy for parking.

That said, that one in Lymm is a shit hole.

I agree, basic, no frills but not, a shit hole imo. Only punted there a couple of times though.
The last time I'd had a good punt & the WG was leaving at the same time as me so we left together,  the cleaning staff were in a room & had left an unopened four pack of Fosters in the hallway,  it was a Friday & I was starting the weekend early so they came in handy  :drinks: she then gave me a lift back into town whilst telling me some entertaining stories about her sugar daddy experiences.  :sarcastic:
She actually looked sexier in her civvies whilst driving than in her profile gear so I wanted to turn back & return to the hotel  :diablo: but alas.....

Offline McMuffin1

Went there once and it wasn't for me. Each to their own. It just makes a difference to the whole experience if the gaff is a bit ropey but I know I'm a bit of a snowflake like that.

I was planning on Booking a hotel for a few days away and combine this with an outcall or two,  none of this is good reading  re the staff checking up on visitors
