Tube is an option for the area and parking can be tricky (Event day). Having punted around this area iirc, normally with-in a 10 min walk East Lane. Free parking spaces can be found.

Normally after getting a post code, I use Google street view. To view several local places to park. Large  supermarkets often off free parking (some you may need to shop in £5 or less)
