I remember very clearly, seeing a photo of Britt Eckland on the front page of my Dad's Daily Express in 1964 and thinking she was the prettiest woman I'd ever seen.

He was a total cunt to everyone at times including his own kids big time, maybe only his dear old mum didn't suffer from his mental illness problems. He could pull celeb women with his outward personality, wit and charm and he was a real charmer initially but the truth soon came out, he was a real depressive who lashed out at those closest to him. His last wife was smart, she manipulated him as he was losing his facilities more and more. Mind you it didn't last for her as she died when still quite youngish, an alcoholic and druggie.

Apparently so yes .. a lovely mover whoever she was ... but it was an excellent film of it's genre and time and I bought the Director's Cut DVD some years ago.

The Britt Ekland (+body double) scene was just a bonus.  :D

With reference to Pamela Stephenson, I've been searching the Internet for a still of her with Robin Nedwell in the film of Stand Up, Virgin Soldiers, where she played a nurse and looked absolutely amazing in stockings and suspenders. I thought that once something was on the Internet it was there forever, but that no longer seems to be the case. Maybe she and Billy paid a wad to get them removed. now she's a Ph.D. and calls herself doctor.

Carol Royle, similarly, there were quite a few shots about 15 years ago of her from "Oxford Blues" - can't find them. I saw her in something on the TV recently - still looking good.
