If it were me I'd have no compunction whatsoever about them showing my spotty arse going up and down on a WG.
So long as it was only my spotty arse and not my spotty face
It would have been an interview on a C4 programme.
The producer got in touch with Admin on here who put her on to me. I actually happened to be in London at the time so met up with her for a coffee. She was very insistent, suggesting I had 'something say'. Apparently my face could be blurred out but not my voice as she said that would come over as weird. I had no real intention of ever doing it, but thought it wouldn't do any harm to meet her. And she was fitter than most prossies!

A Canadian in her early thirties.
She said there could be no payment, which I was already aware of as they are not allowed to make payments for appearances documentaries. I asked if they could at least mention my book. She said there could be no guarantee of that, so I told her I had said what I wanted to say in that.
I asked her what was ultimately in it for me, and it transpired fuck all only a tv appearance, which of course is what they hope will satisfy most people.
For her it would be another step on the career ladder. What I garnered from the meeting was that these producers of indie production companies aren't really interested in the topic the prog is about but in just selling it to tv companies.
She was very insistent, calling me again the next day to see if I had changed my mind. When I told her I hadn't, she said it was a real pity that I didn't want to share my knowledge and experience.
I suppose if they can't get anyone to appear the progs don't get made and her career doesn't develop.
Of course there are always plenty of people willing to appear on tv, however I am not one of them.
