My interpretation was no discussing topics regarding racism or religion? Being racist was I think always contrary to the rules.

There were at least two new threads started during the last 24 hours or so with the subject matter being racism and they were deleted.

There is of course the BLM thread still left running, although that appears to have descended into further confrontation during the wee small hours  :D

Admin, please can this be clarified?

Thanks

Certainly the banner across the top reads: For general chat not related to punting - Forum Rules Apply. No Religion or Racism!!!

I'm reading that as no racism allowed, ie talk about race issues is allowed?

Talk about Religion not allowed at all.

Of course the point at which discussion on race issues descends into racism is a moot point, and to be decided by Mods/Admin/Head1.

Clarification would be welcome though  :).

No race issues at all. Some people have posted some well written and thought out pieces on race issues that were not racist but there is a fine line and a lot of the replies are contrived and could be thought of as racist.
It's getting a headache so.........

The Off Topic Board settings have been changed so that posts in here are no longer included within a members post count.

An interesting development which makes sense on what is a punting forum.

The 'size of your bollocks' (post count) are to be measured by your input into the punting side of things, rather than your contributions to Off-Topic.

Very welcome IMO.

Yeah I did point out in one of my posts a couple of weeks ago that OT posts were contributing to the post count whereas they didn't before it came back, was wondering if the team wanted them to or whether it was an oversight

It wasn’t an oversight - just set up that way.
