Okay… so I did my first ever walk today. I was in the area so made contact and comms were polite, fun and prompt. It was short notice but she was more than happy to accommodate. I turned up, pleasant enough neighbourhood, but as soon as I walked in I knew it wasn’t going to work for me. It really was a combination of her not being my particular cup of tea, the room it was going to happen in and the dogs. I felt pretty shit about it but I immediately knew and said I was sorry and it wasn’t going to happen. I gave her half the money for her time and legged it. She was polite about it and seemed like a decent person. It just knew it wasn’t for me and I’m really glad I trusted my gut and walked because I would have regretted it. Oh well. We go again.
