Basically he said she said there were personal issues he didn't want to repeat, it was all a big misunderstanding, and he got his money back.

could be a complete sham with her coming out of this smelling of roses in the middle of lockdown and getting free publicity as things start to get moving again and his sympathetic conciliatory views make her sound like a hard done to little angel - either that or the pimp has spooked him and repaid with the threat of popping round if he steps out of line. The appointment may never even have existed just can't buy it that she has repaid
