obviously the number of reviews has diminished dramatically
Is it just me being cynical but when i read the newest reviews they almost always start with
"this meeting was back in January"
" only just got round to posting this from a few weeks ago"

A lot of girls are still working.  That means a lot of guys are still using them.  A rat is most certainly there to be smelt.

Got to admit, despite the warnings that were already in place for some time at that point I made sure to get in a couple of punts in the first half of last month just in case full lockdown happened.  The last of which was on 20th March, the day Boris announced the total shutdown rather than just the recommended shutdown that had been in place that week - and as I hadn't seen the news that day, it was actually the SP who told me about it.

Offline Gustav Klimt

I have posted a couple of reviews since the lockdown began which took place earlier. Generally I leave it a couple of weeks before I post a review. That way I am less likely to be identified by the SP & it gives me time to reflect on the punt. Then I believe my review is more balanced. The only time I post straight after the punt is if it is a particularly bad one & I can warn my fellow punters.

Offline Blackpool Rock

No I don't think so and for obvious reasons any new review will have the line about the punt being XYZ weeks ago to avoid being jumped on.
I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had 2 reviews still to post and I still haven't done them, in fact I need to hurry up as 1 is almost 6 months old

I don't think so, OP ... as almost all of us are somewhat redundant at this worrying period, I think we're all taking advantage of the down-time to catch up with reviews. I myself have just posted three reviews over the last week (decadentlydee, AMYRA BLONDIE and ElliWang88) ... two from Jan, and one from just before Xmas ... and I still have another 11 to write up, dating back to the end of last year!

Do you make notes after each one? If not, your powers of separate recall for each punt are astonishing to me. If I don't write up a meeting within three or four days all of the important detail fades beyond my powers of retrieval.

And if I have another punt in the meantime I can't separate them in my mind unless they are totally different kinds of experience.

There's an obvious reason but I still haven't reached this point...

I write them up and save them on a word document when it's fresh in the mind then copy and paste into the review as and when.

As a group, we gives guys who haven't posted a review a hard time - yet you could ask how valuable is a review from 4 or 5 months ago? I understand leaving it a week oe two but 4 or 5 months?

Yes any review is better than no review, but usually in that time its likely that others have reviewed. But if this site is about giving as well as taking then surely guys, we can do a little better than 4 or 5 months later. How long does it take to write a review - 10 minutes, maybe 15! (ok i don't write long reviews like some but i think i give the main important info!)

Online bdyno

I'm like Gustav - i like to leave it a few weeks to see how the memory of the punt settles.  OK, if it was shit I'll get the review posted as a warning asap, but aside from that a punt which sits on the fence between neutral and positive can often slide one way or the other with a little reflection; sometimes even one which felt positive at the time can become neutral or even negative once the sensible head kicks back in.

Never had a problem with memory of events either, although I don't punt often enough to get that many queued up.

As per my anankastic tendencies, I'm afraid I do make notes and more ... I actually have a UKP review template, which I complete in painstaking detail after any punt, plus I collect all available links/photos. I rarely upload until a month has passed in order to diminish any WG's recall of our meet, considering the potentially recognizable and incriminating detail in my reviews.

And I remain committed to reviewing every new punt ... and can't wait to get back to the game after Covid-19 has rightly fucked off!

Made the mistake of posting a review only a matter of days after seeing a certain service provider. Within hours I got bombarded by text messages accusing me of ruining her life.! The review was a good review as well and someone else also did a good review a few days earlier on the same girl. Don't know wether he got any grief from her. God knows what she would have been like if the review was bad.  :unknown: She probably wouldn't agree to see me after that episode which is a shame as she offered a good service  :dash:

Unless I am missing something?

A delay in writing a review maybe for discretionary purposes.

If the girl in question does not have a high throughput of AW reviews it may be possible for people to link a UKP review to an AW review and potentially identify the punter or even out him.

Anyone this lax with their punting identity is begging to be compromised.  The effort required to protect your id is minimal.  The only advantage to leaving an AW feedback is because only a few SPs demand bookings from "reputable" punters.  IF you're that desperate to see such sensitive souls then you can fabricate a throwaway id easily by just booking 2 or 3 one hit wonders under a new id and leaving positive feedback (regardless of how true).  Personally I avoid any SPs making such stipulation, it means they are either prone to disappoint clients in terms of services promised (and set off crazies) or they perform badly/erratically often enough that someone vocalises a complaint.

If the detail is so recognisable and incriminating then why would they forget after a month?  So many of us with so many ladies under our belts still remember a good tumble after a little aide-memoire, even years later.  The only way this is forgettable to the SP is that every encounter is indistinct in services rendered and performances delivered or she doesn't remember any regardless of how individual the performance.
Many's the time that one of us has recounted how the SP remembers previous encounters whether recent months or years apart.  E.g. Ranticha recognised me after several years and apologised that we would not be able to do full service like we used to because she only delivers massage and HR.

SP performance levels can dramatically differ even after a week as many can attest.  Delaying positive reviews only works for SPs who can maintain performance and does not benefit punters until said performance is known and maintained (or not).  Delaying reviews for new SPs does not benefit punters who try her out before the review is published.  What is the point of old intelligence on a review site?
The only advantage delay of a positive provides is to the publishing punter who has the opportunity to resample the SP without her review-driven popularity and any consequent price rise.
The anonymity argument only applies to those who use contact details and an identity that they trade on.  In the age of mobile phones, multiple SIMs and throwaway email addresses and site registrations what kind of punter wants to be recognisable to SPs?

I think you are missing quite a lot, the rule used to be the meeting had to have taken place within the last 12 months the new owners reduced it to 6 months.

Yes daviemac - i do know that. And redkettle I am not saying I know better. I am questioning why we as a group of guys on here give those who don't post any reviews such a hard time, yet seem to be ok with reviews being 4 or 5 and sometimes nearly 6 months old - surely the value of any review is diminished as time goes by. Yes I understand a couple of weeks delay - I do that myself. But if WG's see only 25% of the numbers of guys that most of  us seem to think, then surely a couple of weeks or so is enough to preserve our identities in most situations.

As with any review if you don't find it useful ignore it. No reason to deny others something they might find to be of use. It's up to the individual how long a gap they feel they need to leave.

maybe not, I saw someone last December I have not reviewed her on here because she has had only 2 AW reviews to date since I saw her. I would prefer more names on her AW review page before I leave my review on here

And for a long time there wasn't any limit it was up to the punter to decide the use of his review.

IMO ALL genuine reviews are worthwhile, they are that punters unique take on his experience of the WG.

I will give you another scenario why I may wait some time to do a positive review on here, from experience I know some WGs who rack up positives become both a lot busier and put their prices up, great for them, terrible for me. So I may have my fill first then do a positive review.

Classic example was a WG still about or was called Ameera, she was easy to book initially, not much later she was virtually impossible to book at a time that suited me. And her prices started to go up. Other punters will decide the use or not of a review, the point for me is if its not on here its no use to anyone for sure.

Indeed, another reason that has been expressed by others before.  And one that is counter to the aims of this site, which is to enable punters to make informed choices about who to see or avoid not read the past exploits of others during the glory days of a now faded SP.

Yeh see what you mean. There’ll definitely be people still punting.
I haven’t seen anyone for 6+weeks. Dunno why but haven’t even had the desire. Rarely go on escorts sites or here last few weeks. But through boredom I had a look  on aw last night, was surprised at the amount of available today in London. I’m in Bournemouth, there’s a few, but after some digging, quite a few make reference to they are still working without the green light or featured. I did become tempted for 20 minutes or so. But glad I refrained and thinking with my head again. Also gumtree massage adds, particularly in London. Unfortunately some people will never heed the warnings.
Would be nice for a SP on here till dish the dirt on what bookings she’s had recently.

Due to the current situation we have a lot of time on our hands, so we’re catching up on reviews.

I’ve posted reviews with that line recently, it’s very difficult theoretically find a good punt atm 98% of escorts on my hotlist are no longer active, their probably self isolating like the rest of us. If you click the profile link on my latest review you’re see this.

Under normal conditions it usually takes me quite a while to write up a punt (not that I've written up all of them) and I prefer to leave it a bit if it's a WG I might return to in the interests of anonymity.

Under the current lockdown, with my OH and I staying in 24/7, it's difficult to find the time and privacy to write up my most recent (pre COVID-19) punt.

So my review, when I complete it, might have a slight scent of Rattus Norvegicus, but I can assure you it's rodent-free.

Offline jeanphillipe

As mentioned above i also follow the practice to never post reviews straight away or rarely do so the wg doesnt tie me to my username on here.

But have always said if and when i every get a negative will be quick to warn fellow punters.

So anyone who questions anything albeit within the rules, is an idiot are they? Well then, what about all the "idiots" then in other threads on here who have questioned the appropriateness of "guests" being allowed to view 20 items per day - there have been loads of "idiots" questioning that (and even saying they shouldn't have any access) and thats not only within the rules but its a rule set by HEAD1 himself!

I'm obviously being sarcastic there - but please don't call me (or anyone else for that matter) an idiot for questioning something in a polite and respectful manner. Disagree with me by all means - that what discussions are all about!

Post Covid-19 I'll be following this system too so all my future reviews will now have a timelag of a few weeks. Some WGs fanboys have directed them to my reviews and I have subsequently received a banning order lol. One I couldn't give a fuck about, the other first punt wasn't awesome but I felt she had more to give only to discover when I tried to book again I was banned and she pointed to my UKP review as the reason :(

So I would not say there is anything overly suspicious of delayed reviews. Most punters have plenty of time on their hands to write up and post.

The rules are there not to protect your identities, they are set at whatever level in the hope to encourage participation whilst trying to have some currency to them, thus making this site a useful resource for planning future activity.

Read the rules again.  The ONLY rule to do with punter privacy is Rule 9.  Read Rule 3.

The idiot in this conversation is you, because you are not understanding what I have written or if you have and don't agree with the logic then you're clearly not a punter with the interests of other punters at heart.

This is the unfortunate consequence of writing too singular a review.  Perhaps write something less specific but equally reassuring?  We'd lose out on entertaining reading but we'd still be motivated to try or avoid the girls you review.  :hi:

I've been challenged or warned a few times by establishments about reviews but simply pleaded ignorance or just ceased frequenting them at relatively little if any loss of satisfaction for myself.
Some indies already in the know about UKP have indicated a desire/disdain for UKP reviews and again I have not admitted or promised anything.  Reviews for them would be sufficiently devoid of flourish to be more unrecognisable.  I don't recall anyone banning me for a review I wrote,  I have been banned for what others have written because I've been blamed.

I agree IF leaving a gap suits the punter doing the review, then other punters will decide the usefulness or not of the review. I certainly agree punters should do what they feel comfortable doing be it doing a review soon after the punt, or later up to the max 6 months allowed. But for me a review that is of a punt 6 months ago isn't as useful to me as one from a month ago for obvious reasons. But having a review is still better than not having one in my view.

I write very detailed reviews within a few days of each visit and am not bothered if an escort knows who I am on AW and decides to ban me or give me grief. Only happened a couple of times.

I understand that others think differently and each to their own, within the site rules.

If it’s a negative review I write on the day and post it, I won’t be going back so don’t care.
If it is neutral or positive I write on the day, change a few small facts, time, day etc, then post it a week or 2 later.
I got grief via AW for a positive review once for telling the truth.
My name is slightly different on AW from this site.

I did the same on my latest review, so not sure if this is partly directed at me. Not offended if it is.

I reviewed one from Feb starting with the line "Back in the heady days of February 2020, we used to do this thing called punting" . That was more of a joke rather than to deflect any criticism for still punting. My last punt, for what it's worth, was 5 March. Even if I wanted to be selfish, I'd have no excuse if my missus found out I was out and about as I wouldn't be able to say my normal "I was at the gym / visiting mum / at the pub etc".

I , like others, often leave it a month before reviewing so as not to be identified by the SP, especially in the case of this latest one being a negative. Don't want my number to end up on Saafe or clienteye in revenge.

Did other punter demand same service levels and performance?  Was she upset about what you'd described or that the other punter made her feel obliged or even threatened her?  Presume the details you gave rang bells in her mind, however long after the fact it was.

But if your number is a punting SIM then you could just get another number...

Likewise, only my AW handle is completely unconnected with UKP as is the email address.  I don't have a registered phone number on AW and I haven't used the AW booking system in years (at least a few since I washed up here).  IP analysis and browser fingerprinting would likely tie some things back to me but the chances of an SP accessing that kind of capability are slim for the sake of a negative review!  Alas going for my higher security clearance with HMG may be problematic...
