Author Topic: Car meet risks?  (Read 3948 times)

Hi guys.

I'm considering a car meet with a WG who only does outcalls, but I'm worried that means they will get my number plate.
I've read that there are ways to get someones address from their number plate which would not be good!

Wondered what you thought?

Offline Urban_G

Have you done any research or tried finding your address from your own plate to see if it's possible?

There are well-known risks attached to punting at the moment.

Notwithstanding that, no-one from the general public can legally obtain your address from your numberplate.

Of course the police could in terms of kerbcrawling legislation, but that's a separate issue (but one you might also want to take into consideration).

Yes it is possible to get a lot of personal info from your car reg. Also bear in mind, by the very nature of what they are, car meets are often in quiet, isolated spots. So its possible it wouldn't be just the WG there, maybe her BF to "welcome" you too. (There have been some horror stories of being ripped off and thief etc).  And as its def more risky for the lady, I can't help but think if she risks that, what else might she risk?

It maybe possible to overthink this - but I am cautious by nature. Having said that, I have done a car meet with a past regular and maybe would consider one with a very well reviewed/known girl. And I expect there are lots of guys who will say "i've done one without any problems".

Apols, my comment wasn't really applicable to the OP, who'd be indulging in a pre-arranged meet (ie no kerbcrawling).

Back to the numberplate thing though, I think the only thing Joe Public could glean is details of the car and the MOT history?

I have car meets quite regularly. Usually I rent a car or use a company pool one. The advantages of a rental one is the company won't usually divulge who rented it to third parties although if you work in the hospitality industries it's usually quite easy.

As for finding the address of the registered keeper (not necessarily the driver) from only their index number the DVLA can help

To get information from DVLA about someone via their numberplate you have to prove there is a genuine reason.   I had to do it a couple of years ago for business reasons and it takes time, money and effort.  Unless you break a law or park illegally (in which cases the police or parking watchdog firms/scumbags can access your details) it is very unlikely to occur.   Unless, of course, you somehow manage to piss off a Sergei who has underground connections.

"You can ask for details of another vehicle’s registered keeper. You’ll need a ‘reasonable cause’, for example:

finding out who was responsible for an accident
tracing the registered keeper of an abandoned vehicle
tracing the registered keeper of a vehicle parked on private land
    giving out parking tickets
    giving out trespass charge notices
tracing people responsible for driving off without paying for goods and services
tracing people suspected of insurance fraud"

You'd have to lie through your teeth over 'reasonable cause'. Which is probably an offence in itself.

As for using a company car pool car, getting caught kerbcrawling is one thing and wouldn't go down well with an employer. But getting caught doing it in a company car would probably lead to instant dismissal? But of course again, the level of risk would be a lot less with a pre-arranged 'car outcall meet'.

My boss trusts me so completely that if I tell him I'm following down a (potential) sales lead and need to borrow a posh car he will virtually wash and valet it himself.

OK in these times there are now fewer opportunities  but he's so trusting If I said I had a lead on 5000 gallons of iso and 20,000 masks he'd work out the margin and still see dollar signs and take a chance.

As for obtaining the vehicle details travel companies often have computer systems linked into other systems that have direct access to a snapshot from the DVLA. Previously for the price of a galaxy chocolate bar the already overweight girl with whom I flirt at a major hotel chain will gladly get me  me the details in short time (sometimes I give her a financial bung, but never , ever my cock). The reason I give her is I'm worried about sales competition. I expect that mostly if people look me up they get stopped at Hertz or Avis or the hiring company.

I sincerely hope that if SiS wanted to look me up they would not only get my full name and address, but if the provider swallowed.

I think it's fairly low risk using your own car (unless you are a prominent, in the public gaze blackmail target), and almost negligible if you use a rental one.

Yes, I'd read about being able to get information from the DVLA if you had reasonable cause.
The one that worried me was "finding out who was responsible for an accident"
I could phoning the DVLA and saying that a car almost hit me and then drove off and I'm trying to trace the owner...

You need to put your request in writing unless you have access through a parking agencies.

The link to the lady doesn't detail her services. I tend to have car meets for one purpose only; to get a BBBJ and preferably a swallow. I'm too old to be clambering about in a car.

I've had her in the back of my car bouncing up and down on me a couple of years ago
No drama before or after. She just looks rougher in rela life than she does on those photos.
She used to live down Warmley and ask you to park away from where she lived and she walked to your car cos of nosey neighbours.

That's really useful to know. Thanks azzman.
How much rougher than the photos - still worth a punt or not?

There are some videos (for the life of me I can't recall what name she used on the sky wank channels but if you can recall that google them and you will see the videos) of her about which give a better impression of how she looks rather than made up pro glamour photos

I'd punt her again if she was available easy just that I found contacting her and replies to be random and sporadic and after seeing her once any scratch had been itched so the effort isn't worth it and i prefer car meets to be a one off

Do you think she still looks like the realpunting video?

No idea why not ask her for a recent pic?

She's flaky enough as it is.
Not sure I'd get a pic, but guess I can try.

Actually search on here on her profile number and you will find her profile verification photo and then judge from that accordingly
When I saw her I thought she looked ok but then I like rough chav birds who enjoy it all ends up rather than perfect page 3 glamour models (ie give me a night at the Towns Talk or Darkside over any other night in town lol )  so my opinion may not be worth much to you.

Thanks.
Think I'll give her a try.
Now just got to get a confirmed booking!

very flaky. was almost impossible to arrange a meet when she was active but i think she's knocked it on the head now. shame she was cute  in a chavvie way, and a BJ in front of Noel Edmonds house was not to be scoffed at (though I didn't realise at the time).
