My response to honest human error is to aknowledge the error and berate it to a degree it warrants rather than try and paper over it and pretend its not a big deal.
Ive nothing against Peter , he seems quite amiable , my berating just reflects how id feel personally if it happened to me , id be a bit revolted and angry with myself for being so stupid and not just having the sense to double check beforehand.
I think closure lies in facing up to the issue , accepting you fucked up , learning from it so you dont make the same mistake again and moving on.
A week later youl have forgotten about it.
This appears to be a very disingenuousness argument here again on your part. Very similar to your approach opening salvo when you came to the defence of the moderator - an argument that in essence that had nothing to do with you. Then in your following post and in fact in all your posts towards me, you have revealed your true colours

It is clear you have not read - or if you did read you chose disingenuously not to understand, or perhaps you cannot understand as suggested elsewhere - how the punt came about?
So for others reading and may not be aware of our previous conflict, just a few points:
1.
If it was you, there would be no reason to berate yourself - BECAUSE - You did check beforehand but you found no evidence, as stated by myself
2. As for 'a week later I have not forgotten about it!'. Not everything written on the cyberspace page clearly reflects how one may be feeling and/or how a person actually
is. It is wrong to assume that I feel exactly the same way I do 7 days ago, as I do at this very moment. This is the impact of reviews, points are discussed over and over again and new points will arise. So for instance yesterday, in response to KT 's vehement but spot on sentiment, I raised the point about 'consent' which my learned friend WW and I then looked at in great lengths
3. Since we are 'enemies' it is clear there can be no well-wishes or even constructive criticism - nor can there be - on your part towards me. You cannot admit it here because it would make you like an unsavoury character - EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT, to all the other board members. This would then spoil your persona here. Like I said not everything written - or in this case an absence of something ie not choosing to write - is necessarily an accurate reflection of what a punter is and/or may be thinking.
