You are of course, correct.
But despite our (and definitely my) liberal views on foreigners here, in this country, in such serious and dangerous times as these we naturally think of our own, and prioritise our own. Both our people, and our country. And we see that even in the EU, with national borders closing down despite Schengen. It really is batten down the hatches time until we can all restore normal relations with each other.
So for foreign WGs, if they can't financially cope without sex working then I do wish they would actually go home for the foreseeable. I have no idea of any official help they might receive here, of any type of benefits which would help them survive (or whether that would be influenced by whether they'd paid tax), but if they can't survive, please go home until it's all over.
There will however be some gallows humour, some of it based in fact, and I would argue my recent post about Russia and Putin is relevant. Russia certainly have been downplaying Covid-19 in Russia (I'm not sure about now) and Putin - just like Trump - is at pains to point out that 'foreigners started' it. That's never going to be very helpful of course. Russian (and other foreign) WGs are here because either they can make more money, or conditions at home are hostile to them. I get that.
But please, don't be part of the problem of people here not adhering to important controls to limit the spread of Coronavirus.
