So I know punting is addictive, and with the ridiculous trend in price increases I know at some point I should try and give it up.
One option would be to destroy my punting phone, change and forget my password for UKP and AWank and go cold turkey. I don’t think I can do it.

If it helps, I punted a great deal-twice a week on average-in the 1980's and 1990's, all through two marriages. Stopped in 2002 and didn't start again until 2016-a change in personal circumstances. Very hard to start with, then didn't notice it. Now I just punt perhaps 15 to 20 hours a year, most of those 2 hour appointments, so less than once a month. Being in my sixties probably helps with that. The spirit remains willing but the flesh is a little weaker than it used to be.

Usually I go there a few times a year but my trips haven't been as frequent for the last couple of years. Also age is taking it's toll (won't see my 60's again!) Nah I’m not a shrink just abstaining for a bit for various reasons which I am happy to share with others.
Punting is a funny game, only a few months ago I was having a whale  of a time and had the attitude JFDI whilst I still can, creating memories to be the happiest fucker in the nursing home.
