Booked for Phuket this year. 1st time. Bit apprehensive as going solo.
Haven’t booked a girl friendly hotel by intent as don’t fancy the risk of having a friend in the room.
I am not a big punter.
I’ve heard that some places have short time rooms round the back etc. Can anyone advise on this please and the best bars to go to for such.
Also interested in massage with HJ/BJ recommendations for the afternoons

In Bangla, I'm aware of a couple on a small side street just off the Soi, very close to the 'wecome to Patong Beach' sign
But I've gotta tell you, I hated the time I spent in one - grotty, no shower (just a dustbin full of water - literally), dark and dingy. I can't recommend - all the freelancers seem to use 'em however and will take you there. Can't comment on bargirls, but they're bound to have somewhere to go. I however, much preferred taking em back to my room where I could ensure my valuables were locked away.
I don't blame you being aphrensive if you're going solo for the first time. But Patong is as easy an introduction to going solo as you can find. I've had zero problems on my two trips and not felt at all unsafe once, no matter how drunk I was, or how late it was.
