I’ve never done an erotic sauna experience. I was tempted to give it a try but wanted to hear what I should expect and if it is worth doing. Also, any recommendations?
Back in the day, for me the two best VFM saunas in London were Aqua Sauna, Holloway Road tube, and Lanacombe Sauna, Crouch End Broadway.
Line up of several masseuses, Thai, Filipina, English, EE girls in white coats, who would give a VFM massage with FS for £40. So with the £10 entrance fee, £50 spent.
I used to regularly see a lovely Filipina lady called Betty at both, she was later Sunday receptionist at Lanacombe. Her massage was one of the best and she always followed it with BJ (with) and FS. I kinda lost touch after I moved away from London and couldn't any longer visit on a regular weekend basis. Last I heard, a few years ago, was that she'd had some kind of health scare, possibly sleep deprivation over years catching up and taking its toll. Many of the girls at these saunas Aqua, Lanacombe, Ishka, Thai Sauna used to work from about 12 noon right through the night til 4am. Lack of sleep must've taken its toll. I don't know what Betty's doing these days, but it's probably some reception, PA type job. She had good people skills and the bedside manner, she was a lovely receptionist.
She was so different from some of the man-hating battle-axe old boilers that used to occupy the front desk, such as that old witch with a deep inferiority complex at Ishka Bath back in the day. Horrible cow. I do hope Betty made a full recovery to good health and life is treating her well. She was a very nice young lady.
I've not been for several years to these north London saunas but I'd guess that some of these places are still going. Aqua Sauna is/was perfectly placed for the pre- or post-soccer match crowds to/from Arsenal's Emirates stadium.
It'd be interesting to learn what the setup and prices, taking account of current inflation, are now for a hh or hour's massage at Aqua Sauna. I'm willing to bet that these places are a shadow of what they once were in their heyday.
