The difference is that Prague (like most European cities) isn't as prudish as the UK.  Sexual services are openly advertised in the centre spread of the local rag, without having to use euphemisms like "massage".  So when they do advertise massage, that is what you get - don't expect to get sex at a massage parlour.  A very raunchy massage with happy ending, but no oral or sex.

They are indeed very up market compared to most UK parlours, I suspect because they cater mainly for tourists.  For that reason, they are also on the pricey side.  2000 plus per hour for a massage, when the going rate for full service in a privat is about 1500 an hour in Annonce.  Both still ridiculously cheap by UK standards, of course.

I do enjoy a good raunchy massage, but I have always found these massage places a bit disappointing, perhaps because I prefer something more than just a handjob at the end.  The lack of any real intimacy (kissing is rarely allowed), leaves me feeling that it is all just an act.  Whereas the last girl I saw in a privat gave me a very sensual snog as I was leaving.
