Great memories jogged by this thread. My first punt was a £10 quicky with a dodgy looking lady under the bridge by the custom house. It got me the taste for it and I had a few more experiences over the next few years. I decided I didn't like outdoor quickies, so I would always ask if they had a place we could go to. I can tell you, I ended up in some extremely unsalubrious flats and like others have said, I can't now believe the risks I used to take! Finally, I got caught by the boys in blue, on a rare outdoor deperate punt, the headlights came on and illuminated my member being noshed on by a quite attractive girl. We jumped in the car but were followed and pulled over. She got out and got cautioned, I got the third degree but got let off with a "don't let us catch you again". Jeez, my heart nearly exploded out of my chest! So, as you can imagine, I was somewhat reticent to do it again.
I also remember the 2 pubs mentioned - I was a rep working for a booze company back in the eighties and called on both as customers. Girls in and out at all times of day. The landlord of the Glendower - Dickie Mint - used to call the girls "traffic wardens"! Happy days, but quality indies only for me these days!
