Mainly because Seeking has become much stricter over the years and I’d rather discuss arrangements off platform and not risk getting written up and banned. I know this can still happen but more effort from their side once the block is in place.

I agree with your view about there being no reason to block once moving to messaging off site. This has happened a few times in the past and they have normally been the ones that have not been serious and have gone down the route of money needs or picture selling .

Good point. There’s also the risk of their details falling into the hands of those they may have blocked / not want to contact due to a bad exp with them or safety reasons. The name of the game is discretion so it’s a bit disrespectful especially when they don’t post their number on the site the way an SP would for example
