The other strategy I've seen in this theme is a girl will deliberately call someone out as "abusive", "time waster" or whatever so none of the other girls will touch him so she can keep him to herself.

At the end of the day, it's something to be aware of and not something that should deter. When you think about it, who cares if you're on the radar of a bunch of semi pros and pros and they don't want to see you as a result? Where it crosses the line is where they start posting LinkedIn profiles and other personal information. This can then be used by others in the group to blackmail even if she has never met the guy in question. Good digital hygiene works wonders, have a burner not connected to socials, make sure the photos you use cannot be reverse image searched or found via PimEyes and the like.

Of course in vanilla dating there are whole Facebook groups dedicated to this, the most popular are the city based Are "We Dating The Same Guy?" groups. But that's a different kettle of fish.
