why not encourage the guy to contribute more in the future rather than have a go at him! We don't know what his circumstances have been since he joined.
Puntagliacci - never heard of that happening but i would guess its because your profile triggered some automated alert if new or you have just updated it or perhaps, more likely, you have been reported by someone.
In their T&C, i am sure they have the right to do this and indeed if concerns have been raised they are obliged to investigate.
And finally, yes please try to contribute to the forum in the future.
