So I had a meet arranged and we had come to an agreement with the PPM. I booked the hotel and sometime later she asks for extra £50 the money is not a problem I would be happy to give her an extra 100. It just the She told me what her usual PPM is which I countered with my offer and she agreed.

I told her its better we don't meet if we can't stick to what we agreed so she said its fine I don't have to give her the £50. I am in two minds as to see her not now as it kind of soured things and takes some of the fun out of it plus she is likely to resent me during the meet.

She said she wont feel that way towards me and it will be enjoyable but I am not sure if should go through with the meet on principle.

She asks you for extra money after you have agreed the PPM. Its a non starter for me. Did she know you already  booked the hotel ? if so she is trying it on. Go with your gut feeling which is clear from your post. I would defintely move on but if you go ahead let us know how it went, hopefully prove me wrong.

I thought I'd share an update about using a VPN to avoid paying VAT.

I used VPN regulary while traveling (somehow I still had my UK IP while roaming abroad) and it all worked fine. Anyway, switched to Australia as recommended, it looked OK, I entered my card details, tapped Pay and and boom, my account got blocked at once. I didn't get charged though.

Not recommended, not worth it.

I am new (and newer than you) I joined during COVID but after the grace period for writing a reviews,  and as I was not prepared to punt until after COVID I had no reviews to add. It has only been in the last few months that I have been adding my reviews... BUT in respect of the site and contributers that did not stop me adding value in other ways via contributing to threads.

Initially, it facilitates identity theft, as they want photo ID and other details. Eventually they want credit card details once they've got you to "invest". The service will then use the identity details to say that they payments weren't fraudulent when you contest it. Quite clever and insidious.

This is the latest common problem of M n G allowances, paying for initial platonic dates to build up trust.....
Getting common with even a girl you wouldn't even dream of. for e.g. intelligent, quality conversations, etc etc.

Tried that as well. As you say, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Some are completely deluded, and are being aided by idiots paying for things like M+G's!

I suspose i  should add that perhaps i am not the typical SD who comments on here. I often have two M&G type meeting, the first a coffee and chat (maybe 3-60 minutes) and the second often a nice dinner "date" (2-3 hours) so this helps me to assess them and helps us to get to know the other and beginning to build trust. So unlike a lot of guys, i am not just trying to get them into bed ASAP. However i do stress to them that whilst i am not after "hotel only" type meets, and therefore whilst its not just about intimacy, it is part of what i seek. I therefore never pay anything until after. I usually suggest starting witlh a PPM for the first couple of times then switching to an allowance. Or, as we plan to meet once a week,  pay a quarter of the monthly alloowance after the first time and the remainder of the monthly allowance after the second time. There are probably other "middle ground" ideas too.

So I am a little different to many SD's and the ladies i see maybe a bit different too - i go after ones that are as much interested in creating experiences and memories together as in financial support. Hotel meet ladies are probably mainly or just interested in money! So maybe my approach wouldn't work in all cases, but it generally works for me.
