Swindon, Eastbourne, and Gloucester come to mind. But only because I was in them places attending social events. Saying that, there is one in Bexhill and another Margate that's on my must see again list having previously met them.

Hungerford, Maidenhead and Exeter (two reviewed) but I was travelling from home in the South Essex area to places
further afield. In fact the Hungerford one was so good I returned recently on a 400 mile round trip.
Would have been Harrogate as well but got pissed instead.
A much more guaranteed way of getting pleasure for your money

Not forgetting Hong Kong while on hols. However, after one tried to take my bumbag containing my money in hotel room didn't pursue any more. Perhaps should have done? Some positive HK reviews here

Yes, with stops. I went to a holiday cabin few weeks ago near Jedburgh. AI - A68. However A68 is a scenic route with lots of twists and turns. And speed camera's too! So coming back went A68 - A696 at Elishaw- onto AI near Newcastle. Lot quicker

My trip to Scottish boarders filled up twice each way when my 08 Fiesta was down to quarter tank. Didn't want to chance lower than that as in some parts of north England and Scottish boarders petrol stations can be few and far between

I'd go for Fuengirola / Estark - not far from malaga airport
And get shagged senseless by fit EE's & south american burds
In for a penny ....

On the other hand you could take a flask of tea & sandwiches in tinfoil for your car journey
