So this is how its happened same old trick tbh

I made the booking via AW, she confirmed the booking and I arrived on time at the address. As I entered the house a guy walked in from no where and pulled out the knife, asked me to handover everything and at the end of bit of scuffle they managed to get just money of my wallet. I was gobsmacked but not scared at all. The reason I am sharing my experience so that guys out there  be careful from these cheats. Now I am in a situation that I can not report this to police (don't want my family to know) and can't share this with my friends out embarrassment.

Report it to police crime stoppers, and let them do their job

There may well be police officers on this site either in an official capacity checking for potential leads for criminal activity (e.g. sex trafficking) or punters themselves. They cant do anything unless you report the incident. So go to Crimestoppers and get some revenge.

In a court of law, it would never be in favour of the punter because he is in a complete stranger's home.. I think the best course is for everyone to take this as a lesson to only visit those with good reviews and perhaps contact crime stoppers anonymously . As multiple reports could lead to police seeing it worthy of an investigation. Also, you're an idiot if you said "send pizza" to them, because it leads to a poor takeaway owner having to suffer in time, monry and lost pizza. Also it's a bit risky to leave their full adress because they could be just renting it for a month or by airBNB. These type of criminals are scum and I hope they die from their drug habit. I have to disagree. Armed robbery is armed robbery wherever it took place. He was invited into the premises and wasn't a burglar. It's irrelevant whether he was a punter or had come to fix the washing machine.

There was a similar case (but in the South East) mentioned on a different forum not too long ago. The punter didn't want to go to the police either. So he used a payphone to call the police anonymously and said he'd seen someone dealing drugs from the address.
A bit extreme, but I guess as they'd just mugged him he wanted revenge.

Whilst calling the Police about drugs being dealt at that premises may be extreme, calling a Pizza company would be no no, as some poor takeaway owner loses out on this, and the delivery guy could be in danger if any argument broke out for non-payment.

I only had this once, it was in London, just outside Euston station in the mid 90's
Went in and someone pushed me from behind and followed me in with a knife wanting both mine and the girls cash.
(He saw her earlier I learnt afterwards) , gave him my cash and he got distracted whilst she was getting her stash and let his guard down.
Now I am a 50-something dirty fucker, back then I was 30's, fit and a 2nd degree at Jiu-Jitsu, knife removed from hand, hand round back until it went past the point of no return (at least a break or dislocation), knee to face, thrown back out of door whilst she rang 999.
He ran off and I left when I saw the police pulled up, didn't need to get my details taken ;-)

I'd report it on your behalf but I dont have the details the police would need e.g. time of incident, description of attacker - age, height, looks, clothes, ethnicity, accent etc., description of weapon.  Also, I would get the satisfaction of reporting it and you wouldn't.
